Closing the Box on this Acoustic Guitar | Notching the Lining for the Braces

- Its time to close the box on this acoustic guitar. I'll be installing my Hayley Guitars label, then notching the kerfed lining to accept the braces. After a little final brace carving, I'll use my go bar deck to glue the Port Orford Cedar top and Ambrosia Maple back into place. This is a big step for this build.

Those 'homemade' mini-planes are just so cool - i so wish I had 1% of your skill to build something like that. Not that I know much, but it looks, to me, that this guitar is going to be an absolute stunner - both looks and sound.
Absolutely takes time I'm in the process of figuring everything out now
Cool to see the guitar body closed up. That clamping assembly is pretty wild. Lol
Looking good dude! Such a rewarding feeling to get this part done.
Thanks man! Its super nice to get it all together. I have since trimmed everything flush and am ready to cut the binding channels. I need to spend some time testing that out first to get the right bearings.
Looking great. Can't wait to hear it play.
I like the techniques Jeff!
It sounds and looks really nice. Well done.
