Attendance goes up and down depending on how one team is doing. Now the Bay area has one, and that team is happier today.

Vegas you sacrifice some of the local media market for the immense draw potential. With cheap baseball tickets they could become casino comps and fill the stadium nightly. NFL as a Sunday driven sport has turned the Raiders into the ultimate weekend draw for opposing fans who don't live in the city of their favorite team. + Consider from ownership prospective they're getting local tax assistance on stadiums and will have no personal income tax if they live instate with the team.
