@waltjoynes8961 Hey, thanks for your kind words and support! 😃 👍🏼 Unfortunately it's becoming more and more obvious to us Hobbiest, that the "Sponsored Voices" 🤥 are not telling us the whole truth on these expensive toys.🤨 I believe that kind of stuff comes full circle to bite those companies. 😵💫 It's a sad business strategy and ends up hurting the hobby and those in the hobby and ultimately the downfall of manufacturers in the end. 😔😏
Excellent video plenty of info stunning location I don't watch flying vids but so impressed with this vid I subscribed, was a shame to see two in one esc receiver I always upgrade to a flysky receiver I'd be very interested to see if you upgrade the system Excellent video 👊
Wow, thank you Sir! 🫡 Thanks for your kind words and for Subscribing! Welcome aboard! 👍🏼 On the boat... yeah, it's so sad to see things in the $500 category that are using 2-in-1's like something from Walmart.... this is 2024 and groceries are more expensive than ever... 🙄 Yeah, I have a list of upcominv upgrades and the TX/RX might be on that list! Lol. Stay tuned for a future video on Upgrades/Mods but it might not be ready for a while... but exciting, non the less! 😃
really cool boat, unfortunately i think for 449$ it should have been built better, and paying an additionnal 60$ pump is frustrating. I was hoping for a lot more water displacement from that pump (and they don't even include all the necessary tubing!) it had a lot of potential but unfortunatly not worth it brand new... used they would be great depending on the price cool video
Great question! 👍🏼 I've started working on some upgrades but haven't finished them yet and had some more changes come up!🤔 Pretty excited about it 😃but might be a while before the "upgrades/mods" video is ready to post! 😕
Brushless motor are better for high speed run R/C. I prefer brushed motor for slow R/C like this Tug boat because they run a lot smoother on low speed.
@mattbleuer5011 Great Question! 👍🏼 While I'm glad to see the price dip $100 off for the Labor Day Sale... I still feel it's over priced and overrated for what it is.😒 I hope you'll consider Subscribing if you haven't already done so...😁 There is another, much cheaper alternative to the ProBoat Tug that I am currently testing and will be posting a Review video on in the near future! 😃👍🏼
23 minutes and *you were not able to show us* how the rudder system works on this boat, taking in count that this is not a conventional rudder as is the case on most boats ! ! !. *This is inexcusable* and shows that you did not do any prior planning before making this video. So, as you can see THIS IS NOT AS GOOD REVIEW AS YOU THINK IT IS ! ! ! considering its high price of $450.
@JHonny1392; Thanks for stopping by the channel, 😃and taking time to share your thoughts. 👍🏼 Please review the 16:00 mark where I demonstrated and noted that it doesn't offer steering for reverse. 😥 Personally I found it very disappointing overall with quality, functionality, and especially the price tag on these. The only area I was pleased with was the scale appearance, but even that leaves much to be improved upon. I have started some mods to it but will probably be late spring or early summer 2025 before I have another video ready showing the upgrades! 🙂
Hey, Thanks for stopping by and dropping a comment! 👍🏼 I'm not sure I understand your comment though? Are you sharing disappointment in the fact that it's a cheap 2-in-1 RX/ESC? 🤔 I know I was pretty disappointed to see this. 😔
Good video review of the Proboat tugboat. I’ve had mine for just about a year. I like it. It’s definitely not meant for speed.
Another awesome video Brother, God bless!
Hey, Always good to hear from you, 😃 and thanks for the kind words! 👍🏼
May the Lord bless you as well, Brother! 🙏🏻
Great video buddy! I Appreciate your unbiased approach. Have fun!

@@HappyRCFlyer I purchased mine about a month ago I'll be upgrading very soon aswell I'll look forward to seeing what you do
Hi, do you have any suggestions on how to increase the speed? Any motors that would fit with a decent speed?

Tugboats are built for power not speed!
Nice tug boat but i would not pay $449 for it, $250 and i would....jeff.
@@Isleofwightr.c-ec2ef Agreed, I just don't see $450 worth of parts or build quality. 🤔
on sale for $350 now, worth it?
