All of these are great lessons. I'm glad you included #5. A very important lesson I learned in my twenties was not getting wrapped up in 'greater good' groups or identifying myself with them. For me, it was not just religious groups, but they were all 'greater good' types that had similar expectations of giving ourselves and energy for the movement - or else it says something bad about those who don't. The greater good groups seem to need a bad, an enemy, and need proof if someone is friend or foe rather than any grey.
