INSPIRATION - In Nordic/Germanic Mythology there are two great evils. One is Loki, the other is Surtr, the destroyer. Surtr guards the fiery realm of Múspell, one of the nine worlds impassible by non native beings. On Ragnarök (the apocalypse / great war of the gods), Surtr will come from the south leading the sons of Múspell to battle Freyr, and defeat him. Armed with a sword of fire brighter than the sun, he will engulf all the world in flames before it sinks into the sea.
