I WANT TO CLEAR ONE THING TO EVERYONE OF YOU THAT ....In some examples you might think that there is COS and mirror images are super imposable then how come they are Optically active?.....So the explanation for that is that.....The Sp3 hybridised carbon have tetrahedral geometry so actually the structures are in 3D ..All bonds does not lie in same plane...And hence there is no COS and Images are really NON super imposable even after rotating one of the mirror image through 180° ....All because of 3D geometry of these compounds like tartaric acid ...So don't get confused ..Believe what sir is teaching...HOPE THIS CLEARS EVERYTHING AND ALWAYS WATCH ALL PREVIOUS LECTURES BEFORE MOVING TO THE NEXT ONE😊

sir sorry to correct you but at 42:25 when you draw mirror image of trans form you draw the image which we will get after rotation of that compound along x axis , it's proof is that when you will rotate any enantiomer of trans form 180 deg you will get superimposable images therefore the figure of enantiomers you drew before was correct

Superimposability is determined by rotating the 2 stereomer by 180 degree and then placing it on the 3 stereomer
