What i like about this scene is how realistic it is, and yet so tragic A teen is forced to grow up and take care of his baby brother, because there is no one else that can do so
Nishiyama's "Koutaro" has a different pronunciation and spelling in Japanese... Sorry, If my comment sounds rude...just wanted to say this... My reply is 1 year late though 😂
This is like everything I'd wanted from _Listen to me, girls! I am your papa!_ Mainly because this doesn't have the annoying and weird "we're not _actually_ related so let's get married!" thing that _Papa_ has.
Everyone talks about how attached Kotaro is to Ryuuichi but not many talk about Ryuuichi's attachment to his lil brother, he's just as clingy if not more from the glimses we've seen in both the anime and the manga. Even Hayato thought so in the beach episode
Is anyone else convinced that Saikawa-san should have his own spinoff where he's a spy working undercover or something that explains how he is so amazing at everything he does in Gauken Babysitters, or is it just me?
@@herohour6496 I'm curious do you mean you would like to see Ryuichi fall in love with Innomata-san, with Yushimaru-san, or more of with Kotaro-chan (as a sibling)? Or maybe you mean fall in love with someone else entirely? Or a different kind of love?...
I know this is most probably a joke but just in case someone is not aware: When a kid/baby/toddler is too well behaved sometimes it might actually mean something is wrong. In Koutaro's case he lost his parents and (even when he doesn't understand what's going on completely) sees his brother struggle a lot too. He definetely already has fear of abandonment, based on how hard it is for him not to follow his brother around (most likely to the fear that he wont return, just like his parents), and he is already dealing with a huge amount of responsibility a toadler shouldn't have as demonstrated on how he hided from his brother the fact that he was sick just to not burden him. It wouldn't be surprising to me that he does the same thing with his own emotions, which is not healthy at all. In Koutaro's case the root of the problem seems to be easily distinguish, but if you ever see a child like this (or any child that is 'too mature for their age' in general) is not wrong to just try to be a little more aware around them just to see if any other red flag pops up. Children should be taught how not to be brats, of course, but it should be done in a way that teaches them how to manage their emotions, needs and wants, not to hide all of them; this takes a lot of time and it means that the people raising them are in for many tantrums but it is the healthy approach.
The scene where he tries to call his parents who passed away to tell them Kotaro was sick, man, that hit me too hard. When my mom passed away, I was in huge denial for like 15 days (like my mind knew but my heart didn't believe it...idk how to explain, I knew but I didn't, it is hard to explain) and then it started to hit me. My mom would usually stay away for work and come once every week, recently it had turned into everh 2 weeks but she told me I could call her whenever I needed or wanted to. I was going crazy, trying to go call and her and barely restraining myself because the phone was with my dad and he would know I was crying like this. I used to even get dizzy and it felt so shitty that I would try to escape from reality by watching shows and anime. That's how I got addicted to my mobile.
@@RinaSova01 Thanks a lot. I was really depressed up until last year but I am doing a lot better rn. I am still under huge academic stress so my mind still goes crazy sometimes but not like it used to so I am pretty fine. Thanks for checking up tho!
