- Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix gets a HW Quickrun Fusion 1800kv and a test run.
Need to adjust a few settings (reverse speed) but performed very well.

I have one on my straight axle. I had to dial down reverse quite a bit as it was too punchy. Love it.

They are without a doubt one of the best out of box RTR crawlers. Always places for improvement depending on your needs but it’s a very good rig.

So I have Fusion SE 1800kv in my phoenix, not the pro. However they have the same dimensions so fitment should the same. Is was tight getting motor to seat but nothing special other than gentle force 😂 I did put the pinion gear on after I had the motor seated and the two screws loosely secured. If you have pinion gear on before putting the motor in it’s super tight. Can be done but not advertised. If you leave the pinion gear off, it’s tight but not bad at all.

Hey..are u using vanquish dual stage foam in this video? Do u think it helps much? And does it wrinkles as much as the stock foam one?
Yes sir I am using the vanquish dual stage foams in the falken wildpeak tires. They don’t wrinkle as much with dual stage foams but I also have an issue with their tires spinning on the rims, their method racing rims.

@@rudykwan9196 they are good dual stage foams, I just like the silicone or 3D printed inserts better. That’s just me, everyone likes their own thing. If you don’t run in water, the 2 stage vanquish foams will do just fine.

Do VP foams make the tires stop wrinkling or help?
I apologize for the late response and not sure what you mean by VP foams. I’m running the Vanquishe dual stage foams in the Phoenix and the tires do wrinkle a little but nothing too bad.

Do u notice clicking noise when using fusion?
Yes I do but I assume it’s because I have the pinion gear on the motor too tight against the spur gear. I just haven’t gotten back in to adjust it yet. But yes I do hear a clicking
