[4K] Sunny Day Walk in Germany - Essen Werden Walk - West Germany City Walk

During this sunny day walk in Germany, I will take you on a walk in Essen Werden.
Werden is a borough of the city of Essen in Germany. It belongs to the city district IX Werden/Kettwig/Bredeney. The history of Werden can be traced back to St. Ludger, who founded Werden Abbey at the end of the 8th century. In 1317, Werden was granted city rights. The Abbey buildings housed the Folkwang Hochschule since 1927. The town was merged into Essen on August 1, 1929. From 1931 to 1933, the Baldeneysee was created.
Essen is decidedly gaining ground in importance and denotation as an attractive city. More than 700 retail shops and boutiques are the reason why Essen’s downtown area has been such an attractive shopping place of long standing, and its cultural centers of attraction are quite convincing. This is another West Germany city walk where I am exploring the city-center in a compact form. I hope you can relax and enjoy this walk.
