Quick question so I just started painting cabinets and need more info to what kind of paint and primer do
I use I am new to this... I start getting lots of bleed thru in my cabinets and that’s no matter what I do I cleaned them really good and no matter how much I clean them and sand them I always run in to bleed thru in every cabinet job I do.Also by the way I use an hvlp spray gun”. Also I use waterborne paint and I usually use kilz original primer” but every time i use it I always come across paint peeling or just hairline cracks on them... what do I do please help! And is there any good paints you would recommend me to use and what primer and paint do I use. Also some clients usually want the cabinets sprayed with the hinges so sometimes I don’t remove the cabinets all I do is mask around. Please help and Thank you in advance! Really depends on the material/product will you be spraying and on what substrate? Look for Nick Slavik on “Ask A Painter Live” on cabinets as he mainly utilizes the industry standard airless sprayers
GRACO 390 and/or TITAN 440 and gets super world class superior results with factory finishes but also utilizes the SurfPrep 3 x 4 sander and has a great prep SOP with a professional workshop facility that also helps achieving theses results👍🏻 Wishing you happiness and health with all the success!
