I have been watching you for two or three years . I can still remembered the first time I found your channel I was in a car waiting for a friend, and I binged watching your videos and thought wow this is going to be my fav channel! And I'm glad that I still feel the same way today. I love your videos and love your personalities. I can literally hear you talk for hours even on the topics that I'm uninterested. It's sad to see you struggle. Yet I'm with you: I had been through anxieties, along with eating disorders not too long ago. I'm still not at my best right now, but I'm getting better. personally for me, it started to get better when I figure out what it is that makes me so unhappy. At the time, I cared too much how people think of me. I would not participate in the class discussion because I was afraid saying things wrong or not be able to say what I wanted to say (I'm an international student). I would pretend to be happy to give my friend a ride even though it was so unconvinient and took so much time. I was inside too embrassed to ask anything from people. So if I ever had bad days, or going through something sad or angry, I only kept to myself and dealt with them myself. So things only get worse, eating became my way of dealing with emotions, and it seemed to work so well! Yet consequences came with it, too. I gained 20 pounds in half a year. I still remembered I would force myself to eat and eat until even my stomach hurt. I then always had a lot of health issues. I felt that I was just in this loop that I would never get out and I would never be happy again. Then, one day I just realized that I have to live for myself. Put myself at the first place, take care of myself, so I can take care of my families and my loved ones. As far as those others, why would I ever want to know, or care how they think of me? Does it matter? Does it matter after a week? a year? 10 years? They will just be nobody in my life. I was always the girl that thinking all the time that I want to be nice to people, I want people to be happy. And there is nothing wrong with it. But tbh, if I have to make myself so unhappy to make others happy, I rather not do it, I rather be a little bit "selfish". Because if I'm not well, it's my families have to take care of me. By not troubling others, I troubled my loved ones so much. And after all, I just found that I had never give myself any value. I was a people pleaser, I'm not type of expert but a girl who had been through the darkest time in her life. I hope you will see this, and really just take a step back, zoom out, and be patient. Oh goodness Kathleen, I hope everything goes smoothly for you and things get better. I honestly felt like either you or myself was going to start to cry in that intro, but I just want to thank you for everything you have done and the impact you are making on all of your subscribers. You have shown me that it is possible to conquer anxiety and that I'm not alone when it comes to fearing public and social events. I am 20 and still do not have my drivers license, for a couple of reasons, I have a rare cancer and one of the symptoms is eye ulcers, so I have not felt comfortable enough to drive as I struggle with distance, and secondly, my anxiety tends to take control and is also a major part of why I am afraid to get my driver's license. (I don't even have my temps yet, nor have ever been behind the wheel before.) Seeing how things can turn so quickly and how one moment everything can be fine, and the next, laying in an intensive care unit, not knowing what the night holds, while I don't want to admit, has greatly affected my anxiety and you have displayed that it is possible to overcome. Hearing you say, you're there every step of the way, and having someone who understands it first hand as a cheerleader, well, I could never explain in words just how much that means. I know without a shadow of a doubt, that you will conquer whatever personal obstacles you are dealing with now. :) I love you dearly and wish you, Danny, and the rest of your family well. I am OBSESSED with this ulta highlighter. It's just the ulta brand in the shade yellow diamond and it SLAYS. It is so cheap and so buttery and every time I wear it I get compliments on it. It's better than all of the high end highlighters I've tried. You have to try it!!!

lifewithjenna pink diamond is pretty, but I tend to like more white ish highlight colors. Yellow diamond also goes better on my skin tone. I have no fall out when I apply it and it lasts so long. I like the eco tools fan brush or my bare minerals foundation brush. The bare minerals foundation brush is not very dense so it is nice to use for highlight. Also works if you have a very pigmented blush that you don't need to apply very much of.

Use coconut oil!!! It gets rid of all makeup and also REALLY helps eyelashes (and eyebrows) grow!! I saw results in a month or less and it's a BIG difference. (Ok I know I sound like an ad lol)

I have been using Lush. It has changed my skin. No more texture, moisture to the extreme. I have used Ocean Salt face and body and Skin Drink as my moisturizer. Also, no unhealthy chemicals and no testing on animals 😍. Hope you try it and it changes your life like it has changed mine.

Sorry for your anxiety 😕 I can totally relate. I've dealt with depression and anxiety since I was 14, I'm now 33. For some reason, these past couple of weeks have been absolutely horrible! I actually bought a light therapy lamp to see if that helps because I live in Maine so it's cold and dark at like 4. I think the winter months can be rough for a lot of people, even though you're in Miami. Actually, I really struggled last year in December too. Hang in there! I always love your videos not only because of the makeup, and the wonderful person you are. But also because we suffer from such similar problems. I have dealt with very very very bad anxiety since I was in preschool. Some months are great, but then others it feel like it just starts over again. It really is a constant battle that never goes away forever. This year has been the hardest year in my life, and has made my already bad anxiety, sky rocket. I also started having OCD symptoms, so that mixed with the anxiety is horrible. But I always feel like you are someone who truly understands what its like. It makes me feel better, knowing that there is someone like me.

Hi Kathleen! I also struggle with anxiety.. so much that I recently spoke to my doctor and she suggested that I try to cut caffeine out of my diet as much as possible. This is totally random, but I have eczema. And I use the lotion eurcerin (not sure if I spelt that right) on my face. It's super thick so idk if it would break you out, my skin is very very dry. I use the one with the pump, not the tub. I'd look into it for when you're having dry skin problems.
i have skin issues too! my skin is normal. but idk what happen it went crazy. almost like kathleen. but then i change my cleanser to the Eucerin foam white wash thingy (so lazy to go to the bathroom and check the name) and my skin is almost clear the next week. after i wash my face i use natural honey. i use it like a mask. wait for 15 mints then i wash it with water (without cleanser). i do this everyday after i wash my face and my skin has gotten better. hope this helps!

Revlon black cherry is my favorite shade of lipstick but it goes on patchy, transfers a ton, and doesn't last.. Is that colourpop lip worth the switch? Once you said black cherry I was like FINALLY 😅 I never hear any other shade described as that

I know everyone deals differently with their anxiety but i had it so badly after the birth of my son that even lorazepam and all those medications did NOTHING, and I mean nothing, for me. Then one day I just got so angry at it as if it was a person lol and I just remember repeating "you're not gonna beat me you're not going to beat me" over and over again and it helped. It took a couple months but I have never had another anxiety attack after that and it's been almost 2 years. But I remember how it felt and I wouldn't wish it on anyone and just remember it's temporary. I'll definitely be praying for you and all of you that know what it's like to be in full panic mode. You CAN beat this.
I just recently (past six months) got into watching youtube for beauty videos, and when ever I see you I wish I would have been with you since day one... Not because your not the same as your old videos (because objectively speaking, you are) but just because you probably posted videos and reviews way more often before you became more busy and popular! grace einck it is an amazing dupe. the elf formula in my opinion is soo much more comfortable to wear. I have very very sensitive skin, and I get very irritated easily. the elf blush doesn't irritate my skin at all. it let's my skin breath, if that even makes sense.

I'm sure someone else has already told you this, but I scrolled for a while and didn't see. Troy Surratt is a famous makeup artist who got his start working for Kevyn Aucoin. I think he was also one of the people who helped launch Tarte? Not 100% on that. Anyway, the blushes are SUPERB. And the eyeshadows are stunning. Have also heard good things about his foundation, but I haven't tried that. (Oh! And the eyelash curler is legit the best one I have EVER TRIED). Anyway, the blushes and eyeshadows are meant to go in his little palettes. There is a sticker on the back of the pan, you stick them in the palette. That little plastic sleeve is disposable, that's why it's so flimsy.

I heard the Loreal pure-clay mask detox and brighten is a dupe! It's only 10$ at target and you get 1.7 oz. I also heard the Sephora mud mask is a dupe but that one is 20$ for 2 oz. I've been meaning to try the loreal one but haven't got around to it

MokaTutu Yup exactly it put negative ions into the air the counter all of the positive ions that come from from our phones and other tech and purifies the air. It's helped so much with my kids allergies. It does need heat to work so you do have to have it on but it looks so pretty and we get the light bulbs for it at Walmart for a couple of dollars for a pack of 3 bulbs

apparently the surratt blushes are made to go inside their palette! but the palette isnt magnetic or anything so you cant just pop them in and out to change the colors

I recently bought the new Elf Daily Face Cleanser in the blue bottle and I am in love. For only $5, I was totally shocked that my face doesn't get red, flaky, broke out, feeling like sandpaper after using it. I have been searching for a good drugstore face wash for years and I am totally in love with this. I'm excited to try the other products in this line.

KATHLEEN. You should really look into essential oils! There are so many blends that smell amazing and can help with anxiety. I use Young Living essential oils, they're a really pure brand. You should really look into them! I just recently became a distributor for them and would LOVE to teach you about what they can do!
I have also been loving the LA GIRL foundation! I'm an oily skin girl but I find just setting it does a good job of keeping me nice and oily free for quite some time!
i suffer horribly from migraines that come on from stress and anxiety like you. they have been so bad that my boyfriend found me in the bottom of a cold shower not able to stand or move on my own. i use essential oils to help ease them and as hippie and witch crafty as it is it is my saving grace. i am someone who would rather not take medication and drugs for pain. i use the Doterra past tense blend. i rub it on the back on my neck, behind my ears and on my temples and it is amazing, words cant describe how much it has saved my life. if you cant get doterra you can get all the oils and mix it yourself in a rollerball like i have done before. the essential oils needed are: Wintergreen, Lavender, Peppermint, Frankincense, Cilantro, Marjoram, Roman Chamomile, Basil, and Rosemary. i mixed all those in a roller ball and i keep it in my purse 24-7. i cant get through migraines without it.

Does anyone know if the new LA girl foundation comes in yellow-based shades? I am a little darker than Kathleen so her shade won't work for me, but I have yellow olive skin and it is very rare for me to find a foundation that is not too pink or too orange on me...i have not had any luck with finding good swatches online yet...anyone know if there are true yellow shades? 😊

I have been using Lush. It has changed my skin. No more texture, moisture to the extreme. I have used Ocean Salt face and body and Skin Drink as my moisturizer. Also, no unhealthy chemicals and no testing on animals 😍. Hope you try it and it changes your life like it has changed mine.

Sorry for your anxiety 😕 I can totally relate. I've dealt with depression and anxiety since I was 14, I'm now 33. For some reason, these past couple of weeks have been absolutely horrible! I actually bought a light therapy lamp to see if that helps because I live in Maine so it's cold and dark at like 4. I think the winter months can be rough for a lot of people, even though you're in Miami. Actually, I really struggled last year in December too. Hang in there! As you know, it will pass, and we (your subscribers) adore you ❤️. It always makes me happy to sit and watch your videos. Love you! Have a great Christmas 😃

I always love your videos not only because of the makeup, and the wonderful person you are. But also because we suffer from such similar problems. I have dealt with very very very bad anxiety since I was in preschool. Some months are great, but then others it feel like it just starts over again. It really is a constant battle that never goes away forever. This year has been the hardest year in my life, and has made my already bad anxiety, sky rocket. I also started having OCD symptoms, so that mixed with the anxiety is horrible. But I always feel like you are someone who truly understands what its like. It makes me feel better, knowing that there is someone like me.

Hi Kathleen! I also struggle with anxiety.. so much that I recently spoke to my doctor and she suggested that I try to cut caffeine out of my diet as much as possible. Not just with coffees, but sodas, black teas, etc. I can't tell you how much this has helped me! Herbal teas are now my go to, anyways I hope all the best for you! Loving your soft makeup today! Xo

This is totally random, but I have eczema. And I use the lotion eurcerin (not sure if I spelt that right) on my face. It's super thick so idk if it would break you out, my skin is very very dry. I use the one with the pump, not the tub. I'd look into it for when you're having dry skin problems.

i have skin issues too! my skin is normal. but idk what happen it went crazy. almost like kathleen. but then i change my cleanser to the Eucerin foam white wash thingy (so lazy to go to the bathroom and check the name) and my skin is almost clear the next week. after i wash my face i use natural honey. i use it like a mask. wait for 15 mints then i wash it with water (without cleanser). i do this everyday after i wash my face and my skin has gotten better. hope this helps!

I know everyone deals differently with their anxiety but i had it so badly after the birth of my son that even lorazepam and all those medications did NOTHING, and I mean nothing, for me. Then one day I just got so angry at it as if it was a person lol and I just remember repeating "you're not gonna beat me you're not going to beat me" over and over again and it helped. It took a couple months but I have never had another anxiety attack after that and it's been almost 2 years. But I remember how it felt and I wouldn't wish it on anyone and just remember it's temporary. I'll definitely be praying for you and all of you that know what it's like to be in full panic mode. You CAN beat this.

grace einck it is an amazing dupe. the elf formula in my opinion is soo much more comfortable to wear. I have very very sensitive skin, and I get very irritated easily. the elf blush doesn't irritate my skin at all. it let's my skin breath, if that even makes sense.
I think the shade peachy keen blush from elf is a bit more similar in my opinion. slightly more nude or something. :)

I'm sure someone else has already told you this, but I scrolled for a while and didn't see. Troy Surratt is a famous makeup artist who got his start working for Kevyn Aucoin. I think he was also one of the people who helped launch Tarte? Not 100% on that. Anyway, the blushes are SUPERB. And the eyeshadows are stunning. Have also heard good things about his foundation, but I haven't tried that. (Oh! And the eyelash curler is legit the best one I have EVER TRIED). Anyway, the blushes and eyeshadows are meant to go in his little palettes. There is a sticker on the back of the pan, you stick them in the palette. That little plastic sleeve is disposable, that's why it's so flimsy.

MokaTutu Yup exactly it put negative ions into the air the counter all of the positive ions that come from from our phones and other tech and purifies the air. It's helped so much with my kids allergies. It does need heat to work so you do have to have it on but it looks so pretty and we get the light bulbs for it at Walmart for a couple of dollars for a pack of 3 bulbs

KATHLEEN. You should really look into essential oils! There are so many blends that smell amazing and can help with anxiety. I use Young Living essential oils, they're a really pure brand. You should really look into them! I just recently became a distributor for them and would LOVE to teach you about what they can do!

i suffer horribly from migraines that come on from stress and anxiety like you. they have been so bad that my boyfriend found me in the bottom of a cold shower not able to stand or move on my own. i use essential oils to help ease them and as hippie and witch crafty as it is it is my saving grace. i am someone who would rather not take medication and drugs for pain. i use the Doterra past tense blend. i rub it on the back on my neck, behind my ears and on my temples and it is amazing, words cant describe how much it has saved my life. if you cant get doterra you can get all the oils and mix it yourself in a rollerball like i have done before.
the essential oils needed are:
Wintergreen, Lavender, Peppermint, Frankincense, Cilantro, Marjoram, Roman Chamomile, Basil, and Rosemary. i mixed all those in a roller ball and i keep it in my purse 24-7. i cant get through migraines without it.

Hi! I find the Sephora Collection Purifying & Mattifying Mud Mask (or some combination of those words) is actually a pretty good dupe, has more product in the jar, and costs $20. Hope that helps!
