I thought Ripper was a dog for the longest time growing up before i realized he was a kangaroo which explained his name and why he likes to hop around so much.
Did you know Ripper Roo was originally gonna be in Crash of the Titans? I guess we dodged a bullet as they probably would've mucked up his design, but it would've been awesome to jack him.

You got a Bandicoot that jump and spins around, a big headed psycopath with yellow skin, two talking magic witch doctor mask, a mafia potoroo, tiger on steroids, blue skinned time traveler with a clock for a body, psycopath with a live missile for a face, and you worry about a crazy kangaroo on a straitjacket can fucking drive
He dosesnt need arms to steer. His right leg is on the gas pedal and his left leg does the steering. There’s actually plenty of disabled people irl that do this as well for driving.
the new laughter is not as nostalgic as the older one, and crash team racing is still my number 1 game of crash games for the ps1! i can't resist playing it even nowadays!
I love the animations in the N. Sane Trilogy, but it’s a damn shame that they took out the part in Doctor Roo’s Crash 2 fight at 0:51 where he sets off the TNT, looks down and realises he’s standing on one of them like “oh, I’ve screwed up, haven’t I?” 😂 Also, does anybody else think Ripper Roo in the N. Sane trilogy sounds similar to Double D from Ed, Edd, N’ Eddy.

I feel like there's no getting better than the OG Ripper Roo laugh, and I say that as someone who doesn't give a flip about nostalgia bait most of the time. But there's just something so genuinely unhinged about it that's harder to recreate without the PS1's cronchy af audio.

It may sound unpopular but Rip's N. Sane voice is much better than the original. Why? That's his own voice, despite sounding less maniacal.
