Yep a weighted hook on a fish pool like they do for gaters..and crocks since the water is so clear you would get them thanks as people all you can do is you're best
Umm number of animals not recovered which is a waste of natural resources. Use a weighted treble hook for sucken seals. You should know this. If you can see it you can hook it. SHame

@@dannynielsen2 cool! I was trying to figure out how you lucky guys and gals have silencers. Happy hunting and watch out for bears.
Amazing life .
Thank you
Wish we were aloud to use silencers in canada.
If you wait for the seal to come up a few times before you shoot they will come closer out of curiousity, then shoot 👌🏽👌🏽
you should get some hooks with weights to drop in when they sink! we use them up here in Alaska as known as " mannaq "
This cousin saw seagull eggs and engaged goat mode!
@@whalenutz Lol
Once you shoot a seal, do you have to worry about something (skark, orca ect) stealing it from you, before you can get to it?
@@mlsargent51 No.
We just worry about it skinking, so we hurry to hook it.
@@dannynielsen2 I appreciate the quick answer, and the information!!
Ijass! Kiisami😂
Nice to see my cousin darcy in this video
A lot of freshwater around and not a lot of fat on those young ones , they sink real fast lol , need a jigger
Smells like 'anaq'? 😂😂 it's also in my Yup'ik language for the word poop in English.

There are 8 million more off Newfoundland , some seals sink, it happens and will feed the shellfish
We use a jigger but sometimes you still lose them it happens
Oh be quiet the crabs eat everything

Don't know if I would do that for a couple gulls eggs though 😵💫
❤❤❤❤❤
I didnt know seals were a nuisance animal to just shoot for sport like prairie dogs or crows. Do you ever hunt for animals to eat?
Yes they're for eating
Just think if u had harpoon you wouldnt lose em
