December 10, 2023 Adult Forum - The History of the Westmorland Neighborhood with Tom Martinelli

Our church sits near the southwest corner of the Westmoreland Neighborhood. It is part of the community we serve and we are part of the neighborhood’s vibrant history.
The Westmorland Neighborhood Association was formed in 1941. To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the neighborhood association in 2011, a book was produced on the history of the neighborhood. Copies of the book entitled Westmorland: A Great Place to Live are still available at the Sequoya Branch Library. Neighborhood historian Tom Martinelli’s presentation on December 10th will be based on the Westmorland history book.
Born and raised in Madison, Martinelli has written two family history books and a book on the history of the Madison Edgewood football program, and he has been involved with the publishing of four neighborhood history books for the Westmorland neighborhood in Madison where he has lived for over forty years.
