As someone who almost got ran over by a herd of 7 deers as a child while out riding my bike with my siblings and being cocky with my little bro and speeding ahead of everyone, I felt that last one. 😂

I was visiting my fiancé in Omaha a few years ago when we were driving on a semi residential road when we were coming up on someone riding their bike on the side of the road and they veered over into the road right as the car in front us was about to pass by and we watched the bike get sideswiped. Thankfully we were all only going around 30 and the bicyclist got right up and was ok but the bike was completely destroyed! Even though I used to be a paramedic actually watching that scared the life out of me!
I got a camera when you suggested it on a previous video. A couple of days later I was in the turning lane and someone side swiped me. Got it all on camera thanks to you!

That actually happened to my brother and myself back when we were real young. We lived in a house where a sidewalk was in front but alley ways for walking, on all other 3 sides. I was maybe 5 or 6. And we were playing tag on our bikes. He thought I was chasing him and I thought he was chasing me. So we both were looking behind us and the moment we saw each other, it was too late. We crashed into each other and I flew so far from my bike and got the worst of it because he had more time to brake and shout out to me but by the time I could react, the accident happened. I was all scraped up and remember my dad coming out and my brother was already inside to tell him we got hurt and my dad carried me inside with my bike in his other hand and I had a rash from the sidewalk for weeks. My brother landed in the grass and he felt so bad and so did i. I still remember our eyes connecting right before we crashed. My brother felt so bad but I told him it's okay and it's my fault more than his because I was the one who wanted to play bike tag. Just be aware kids, don't look away lol

For my 2016 Genesis, it cost $1200 (not counting labor costs) to replace the damned side mirror after a truck clipped me when he drifted lanes. It has motion sensors, vehicle detection, lane drifting detection, puddle lights. Tech-rich cars are fantastic, until something needs replaced/repaired.
Same car was taken to the shop to replace a recalled part, and the inexperienced tech didn't clear the back before reversing and smashed into a lift. Cost $21,000 to replace the glass roof, replace the back windshield, repair the trunk and realign.
Thankfully, since neither incident was my fault, I didn't pay for anything.

Anyway bikes and motorcycles are dangerous, I rode with my ex boyfriend on his motorcycle and happen fall down and got my left hand hurt, I will never ride motorcycles even again.. Bike I never forgot I was about 13 years old, long time ago I bike running till van was stop I unexpected it I can’t brake quickly I had to crush their van, my left shoulder hurt. My bike fine , just scratch. Now I’m way older I rather triple wheel bike, I feel safe.. You did good brought it up about bikes/motorcycles accident.. 👍🏻

People on bicycles need to have a left mirror because that biker that turned into the car would have seen that car coming if he had a mirror and waited to turn.
Let me tell you about a dumb cyclist i saw once. Didn't even have his hands on the handle bars. Dude had his phone in one hand, and a cigarette in the other. Rolling down one of the busiest streets in the neighborhood, staring at his phone and having a smoke.

10:10 perfect example of a new Rider not realizing motorcycles countersteer. You have to push the wheel to the left to lean right, not turn the bars to the right to go around the turn.

I had a deer run out in front of me when I was riding my bike once. Luckily, I wasn’t going very fast and was able to stop and avoid hitting the deer. I just sat there for a second til it ran down into the woods.
i hate to say but 4:03 they couldn't use the right side that's for walkers only if you look at the side best option is to pull in the grass and wait for the guy to pass or both get off bikes and walk by each other then go back to bikeing after

Art that clip where the guys were looking at each other and you said they weren't in the right lane. If you look at the road the bike lane is actually the same on both sides. It's an error by the government of that city not by the bikers, though them not paying attention is 100% their fault.
See how one side on both streets has the bike and the other as the pedestrian symbol
Bicycles don’t belong on the highways or interstates at all. I can get ticketed for driving too slow but bikes can’t go the minimum speed limit. And if they are gonna allow them they should have to tag and insure them like we have to do with our automobiles.
Target fixation is real. You hit what you look at. This is why the two guys hit, why the kid rides into the woods, many times they hit the only tree visible.
Motorcycles are invisible learn to be seen, learn to ride. Look where you want to be. Learn that two wheelers steer backwards and learn about the real time lag your brain uses to buffer your sight/sound and how your brain interprets sight.

Here in England ( not sure if the whole of the uk ) cyclists have basically been given more rights on the roads than motorists which is annoying and dangerous especially when most cyclists don't even follow the rules, they think they own the roads and have no respect for other road users. I've personally nearly hit a few cyclists over the year's because they dont look and don't think they definitely don't think logically because they seem to think i can stop my car going 30mph and even 50-60mph within a couple of seconds.
Same here in the states especially the town I live in they’ve done went and gave them 4foot lanes to ride in 😂😂😂 you hit one of them and your fried rotting in jail💀
@Edible Doctor 423 they have built loads of cycle lanes here and spent millions but cyclists don't even use them 🙄
