Weilin is one of the few people that makes me feel inadequate. Like, we’re both around the same age, both animators, and we are in 2 completely different leagues. Like, I didn’t even know what I wanted to do at 17 and he was already making masterpieces. Besides that, though, weilin can very easily become one of the best animators of all time. If he keeps pursuing his talent. Really the only thing he lacks right now (which he is closing in on, especially with his directorial role on the heavenly delusions intro) is his direction. Once he comes up with a unique direction style and starts creating his own brand new ideas it’s over.
totally feel u on this one, im 17 and he really inspires me to do everything i can at a younger age before its too late, along with vercreek too. just something about younger talent that inspires in a way that hits different
