When I was a kid, my parents had a Subaru E10 and later an E12. Basically the same car but with a 1000cc/1200cc three cylinder motor, previous gen and no chrome stuff. It was awesome, had 7 seats, two big sliding doors, and a giant sun roof. The E12 even had additional panoramic windows in the sides of the elevated roof. Bigger on the inside than on the outside, you could easily transport a sofa with people on it. We went on holidays across france into the gray areas of legality with a 1-ton trailer hooked to it. My dad once even got overtaken by his own Vespa 125 INSIDE THE DAMN CAR! Ok, it wasn't secured to the highest standards....
Great little van, my dad still misses it. But it rusted away faster than you could say road salt.
Big (new) fan of the podcast, keep it up phil!
    Greetings from Switzerland

We bought our 1990 Nissan Pao from Phil and it really is so much easier to buy a JDM car that is already titled in the US (ours was titled in Ohio, where we purchased it and live). Great guy to work with.

Blew my mind when i figured out that you dont need the clutch pushed in when you start it.

I was under the impression they were using the exact same charger, but that's their published data, so it may be different.
