The autumn of this year finally arrived, and with that, the new gear showcase video as well, which for some reason so many of you requested!
As tradition, once again I'll bore you to death with all the talking about each item and build, explaining why I chose that specific one, with the intention of possibly helping some players on building their set. But to make things a bit more interesting you can also find my first ever completed solo ECA run captured, as well as several other dungeon runs.
I'd also like to emphasize that I've NEVER spent any real money on this game!

One question, did you invest money in it? I want to have fun in Cabal, but i'm alone and i don't want to spend money, seems like impossible to get even close to Watchman or just highlevel really. Merit system and stuff like that

No, my FA set is similar but quite different. However, since last November I haven't been able to sell all my old items so my set at the moment is still half-complete with my old bike and pet for example. Sitting at 90% critical rate from items because I'm still farming for new stuff :)

@@1minuteCABALguides can i ask you a simple question? should i put 3 slots of hp absorb for the gloves and 3 slots of max hp absorb for boots? because obviously cant afford to buy ssa scroll
@@mont9150 I wouldn't recommend more than 1 slot in gloves filled with HP steal. It gets penalty for having multiple slots, and even that 1 slot isn't necessary if you have the rune learned and maxed.
You can put attack/magic attack to the other slot.
As for boots it's worth getting HP steal limit in 2 slots.
But you should not waste a slot extender on any of those items!

Ahoy! I'm still a little confused about how you managed to reach 75% crit rate. I see you have a lot of max crit rate, but then only have 5% base crit rate, 32% from rings, 24% from weapons and helmet, 5% from pet (total = 66% rate)... Can't seem to figure out where you got the other 9%.

I have no idea why they do that. We once tried to enforce a rule in our guild that everyone must keep their equipment open, but we would've needed to kick 150 out of 300 players so we stopped it instead. I can't understand why they do that....
As for livestreams, probably never, at least not from me. I don't like doing that, and soon I will barely have enough time to log into cabal let alone create videos/stream :(
What’s the big deal about keeping the equipment blocked? I personally don’t like everyone in my business about what I am using and don’t want to be targeted by scammers and hackers.
Ahoy watchman :) i was planning to put max critical rate on 3 slot of my costume, the other 2 slot is already have penetration, but going for another pene is to risky, of I put mcr in the 3 slot will it have a higher chance of success?
Ahoy! Its success rate should be around 75% if you try a different option in 3rd slot. But still, if it fails the 2nd slot is deleted!

I was thinking about comeback to Cabal lately, I have been playing this in like 2008 (EU) - I do not really remember how to play (my max level was around 120, so kinda casual playing). Is it any way to have fun from 0 in 2020/21? Which server should I choose?
That really depends on what you consider having fun. Thanks to frequent events and updates since your quitting, it's really easy to reach maximum level nowadays, and quests make you transcender skill rank as well, so you won't have to pay much attention to skill exping either. I'd say you can quite easily try almost everything the game has to offer in a matter of a few days, as long as you keep in mind that this is a multiplayer game and not try to solo everything. Might be hard to find people who are similar to your level though until you reach 180+, because it just happens so fast.
However, if you need to compete with others to have your fun, forget it. You won't get anywhere near the players who invested months/years of time or the rich people who paid more euros for this game than I did for my house. You won't be able to compete with them unless you get external help (hint: mastercard) or have a close relationship with RNGesus and get lucky enough to find some loot that most players don't see in 10 years of playtime.
@@1minuteCABALguides Okay, I get it. I started to play few days ago and I got like 80 lvl BL (NA titan). I don't know how long will I play, but for now it is kinda fun and there is some people to play with.

Ahoy! I have no idea what is causing that problem, but it persists for many people not just you.
The only thing I've heard about that might work is using a different e-mail address (supposedly gmail works well).
I understand why you say aa / da is useless. But don't you think it's useful for a quick indication of char's power lvl ?
For example if I ask someone what should my aa be to able to solo aft2 ? They can give me a number instead of listing out other stats

There's an easy solution for that: have everyone enable "view equipment" and then if you ask that, others can just check your gear and estimate it without relying on that pointless number :)
@@1minuteCABALguides Yeah, true. but than they should make it unblockable for others to view equipment. For example, it's like that in wow.
Plus I think they would need to add a feature to check merit, collection, ovl stuff
@@agostontoth667 As far as I know soon pets, costumes, and temporary weapons will be shown as well with the next update or the one after that. Not sure exactly. But who knows maybe they add merit and stuff in the future too.
how to make your cabal game camera that far/high?
Check the options, there should be something called "limit max zoom out", that should be unchecked and then you can zoom out until the limit of each dungeon. It's different for each though.

Ahoy! They are both strong in their own ways, so I can't really compare them. I personally don't like FG - it's got too much Asian vibe to it for my liking and it's hard to gear up with it being a relatively new class that few people play.
I see.. btw what dungeon do u always spam so that u can afford that master armor? How long would it take to be able to afford that armor? 🙈
@@nosvorlight4239 Well the only dungeons that are typical, are 4 runs of elite DX (with free premium DX entries from mail), 3 runs of ADX (with 1 entry used+2 from mail). It is important not to do more than that or you end up losing money while paying for entries.
Then some HW runs for wing exp, and 2 DT1 runs for achievement + the occasional 2slot item that I don't immediately extract.
Other than that it's really just doing whatever me and my friends feel like doing, because there really hasn't been any profit in dungeons for the last 2-3 years.
The only real way to gain any income is to participate in events, and fortunately GMs realized that too so we usually don't have more than 1 day "cooltime" between 1 event and the next one's beginning. Collect&exchange events are usually the best as you can sell the items you collect in any random dungeon runs for extra money, actually making those runs profitable after all. I personally hate hunting and war events, but sometimes, very rarely the objective based events have nice rewards too.
Also you can make use of a bit of reselling - when an event is applied some items that are often needed during it might be in higher demand (for example gem of liberation for bingo events).

@@1minuteCABALguides the force wing costume epic converter additional damage. I don't quite get the effect of it. is it the add. damge effect option on pet is the same? and force wing costume epic converter ignore dame reduction. is itonly for pvp or it has effect on monster too?
@@jimbobaso2832 Add damage simply adds a flat value to the end of your damage. So if you're hitting 10k and you get +100 add damage you will hit 10.1k.
Damage reduction does the opposite, it simply subtracts that flat value from the damage received. However it is applied before add damage, so if normally something would be hitting you 1 but it gains +100 add dmg it will be hitting you 101.
So according to this, ignore dmg reduction should supposedly be very similar to add damage, and it works in PVP and PVE respectively. However, I haven't been able to make any test, but I will once I acquire that rune (at the moment it's too expensive in Mercury), but I assume it should be more than just +1 point per damage. Perhaps its function isn't at a 1:1 ratio but more, otherwise it would be a pretty useless thing.
In any case, as soon as I acquire a way to test is accurately I'll make a video of it. Just another year or 2 until I'm strong enough to farm FN :D
thanks hope to see that content soon, Iam still struggling to pick what force wing costume epic converter to use, the available ones are additional damge, ignore dmg reduc, allskill amp, cdi,and all attack . all skill amp,cdi and all attack have multiple source to get like armor and weap bit still dont know the best of it
@@jimbobaso2832 I think amp is disappointingly low for costume epic converters, so I'd go for either budged all attack up option or save up for crit dmg.

Ahoy! I have no idea how things are in mobile version, but speaking as a desktop player, I think you've put too much focus on your chaos accessories compared to items and the rest. I'd work on getting +15+ orbs and at least mastercraft suit+gloves with MCR in 1 slot (extended or not). You should also replace the amulet of pain with an orphidia's amulet if you find one in AHV and the bracelets with siena's bracelets with penetration slots.
That's my take on the situation but to me it seems like you've got a nice set :)

Extreme upgrade 3-4 on weapons, full gold merit, and high level chaos accessories greatly increase it. Also gut rune for it.

The damage contribution of amp depends on your own stats.
The damage contribution of penetration depends on the stats of the target.
Therefore that question cannot be answered.

Do you mean “Penetration has more impact in tanky enemy like FS WA”?
@@kbun510 It works best against enemies with high defense. After a certain amount of penetration you will entirely ignore the defense of the target, so it will no longer increase your damage against target A. But if target B has more defense you still get bonus from it. I can't really explain it in any other way.

Hi, Im from Philippine server. The game always lags, mail delay, auction always waiting for server response, log in attempt took multiple times. Ping randomly skyrocketing to 20k. I can play youtube fine but the game always had this issue. Since youre the one person that I know ahead of things of this game, I might ask you why is this happening?
Is it my connection or the games' weak bandwidth speed? and poor useless maintenance crew of this server, but as I said watching youtube is fine. playing international ragnarok is super fine but this local server is trash super slow.
I love cabal, I was one of the first to play this game in its beta test 2006-7 if I remember correctly, coming back from time to time to have fun but PH server is not fun becoming so annoying.

The "mail delay, AH waiting for response" type of lags are typically on the server side, and there's absolutely nothing you can do about that.
But the server side wouldn't explain your ping jumping to 20k. So I think the problem is either on both sides, or is something between your location and the sever that's messing your connection up.
But either way there's basically nothing you can do about it, other than hope it one day goes away.

I'm playing in EU, but EU and NA are run by the same publishes so I'm guessing it's similar there too.
If I were to estimate I'd say there are roughly a thousand people actively playing every day here.
Unfortunately this game is so overcomplicated and time consuming to farm and grind that its hardly accessible to new players, or veterans like me, who remember farming to Grand master on dummies with max level of 150 :(

Now I know why you using low grade set, you're just looking forward and chasing for cheaper and much easier slot option for your set but not Defense Ability (since there's no damage can be given coming from the set itself).
You don't really need DA right since you have max HP and HP Steal and you're focusing more on farming and hunting, not on nation war 🙂
nah your merit+resist far more important in war than high grade eq..many player rushed to lv 200 in the end they regret due to low merit ....tg 200 isn't tg 52 ~ 79
I just want to know how much your attack power and defense power because your so tanky and i can't believe you can solo b3f with segmental set.
Wizard naturally has higher defense power due to useless stats like "resist critical damage" from high intelligence. Therefore it makes no sense to describe one's tankiness with that value.
As for how I manage to tank all these stuff, merit is truly amazing for defensive stats, and if you watched the video about the solo EOD3 runs, you can see that I relied heavily on HP steal from nearby mobs - I lured almost every possible mob near the bosses to heal up as fast as possible :)
