that is exactly what i love about akame ga kill! otherwise it would just be a regular shounen! that way there is a huge amount of emotions in it. i'll admit it: i cried at certain points in this show.

if you want to see more people live read the manga akame ga kiru on mangapanda I like it a lot better than the show because the ending to the show and many other points were filler.
the fact that everyone dies is not a bad thing, its unique, and very emotional. yeah, there won't be any season 2 unless it's a prequel. but that's the unique aspect of it. there is a beginning and an end to the show.
It's basically like: oh look, a likeable character, you know what, let's kill them.
