- hey everyone! happy december! hope you all have a really lovely and peaceful holiday even if you don’t celebrate christmas♥️
also are you proud of me i edited all this in like 3 hours so i could have it posted on the same day😉
reminder: i have tourette’s syndrome, a neurological condition that causes involuntary movements or sounds. these are called tics. i have thousands of tics, too many to count! i have motor tics which cause my arms to jerk, cause me to hit things, cause my neck to jerk and causes me to jump around like a looney. hope this helps you understand a bit more!🥰

I have this incredibly “random” sense of humor, nothing makes me laugh more than people saying extremely random words, flipping spoons etc and then laughing hysterically. Also you’re super super pretty and just- omg I’m so glad I found this channel uwu

hey i know you probably didn’t like mean to have anyone comment to this but I am kind of going through the same thing.. I started like 2 months ago and found Evie a few weeks ago she makes me feel better too.. I was crying before watching this because it’s hard you know it is aswell.. i hope tomorrow is a better day ❤️ also if you ever need to talk im here i know its not like im experienced and can help but im going through it sort of the same time as you are and I dont know if you feel like this but I just want someone to understand me that I could actually talk to

@@camillaanghelone I also have anxiety tics, but they're not really vocal. I'll have a mouth pop every now and then though. Once I had to leave a store because I was ticking badly and had to be excused.
Edit: I also have one where I blink my eyes a lot out shut them really tight

OKAY, i LOVE that until they only had one egg left and she had no choice, her mom made her crack it despite her condition. that way even through the struggles she will know she can still do things on her own no madder what. I love that she made her at least try her best

The most interesting thing to me is that I can see the association between the words that trigger the tics and the tics themselves a lot of the time. I love watching you...even though the tics make life difficult!

I've had small tics (small head movements, small sounds) for almost a year they've been getting worse over the last few months but my mom doesn't really care. Watching your videos really make me feel better about my tics
Ive had small tics at the age 15 (muscle tics, head, arms, hands, feet, and legs.) My Dr said it was from a magnesium deficiency. They got worst over the years. Magnesium helped a little but didnt do much to stop them just slow them down to where I can tell the next one. Mine got so bad that I couldnt move. Just snatch, jerk, and stutter worse than porky the pig. So I understand what she is dealing with. My husband thinks it may be a form of turrets. But I'm not sure

Question, when you first started getting tics/Tourette’s, how did you tell your parents and how did they take it? I have started getting tics recently and they are uncontrollable to the point they got physical.
I know you’re asking her but my parents thought I was lying. They still think I’m being dramatic. It’s been 2 years. I hope your parents are better.
@@levibow4124 I once attempted to tell my mom and she flat out said “people fake tics you know” and I imply replied “that’s messed up. I have yet to actually have a chance to be alone and actually be myself cause I’m always surrounded by family and now for months I’ve been scared of their judgement.
@@iiaudraii8837 I get that. My mom is still working on it. As mine got worse she would say things like “okay you’re being a little dramatic” when in reality I just couldn’t suppress them anymore because they were getting too strong. If you want my advice, I’d say tell her as soon as you can. If they do end up getting bad there will be a little less of a chance of her believing you. At least that’s what happened to me. I waited too long so she felt like it was a sudden thing which made her think I was faking. Best of luck to you if you ever need to talk just respond to my comment ig.
My mom said it’s all in my head and am now to scared to tell her anything else about them. I’m also to scared to ask to go to a doctor :/ Mine started once I started watching Evie and that’s part of the reason I’m scared because I’m slowly starting to believe that my tics are really all in my head and since I saw her ticing my brain was like “ do it to but it’s not really tics “ so yay fun
I’d say just explain what’s going on and try to educate your parents on what tourettes is and that you think that’s what it could be. And to all the other replies, unfortunately a lot of people who have it do get doubted by others and sometimes even parents will doubt their kids. I think if you are old enough to go to the doctor alone for a diagnosis then try that. Having a diagnosis can help a lot because not all tics are related to tourettes, they can be caused by several other things.
