I wish Olivia gave Fauxlivia a hug! I think many fans have come to love both universes and probably felt very reluctant when the Fringe Team on Our Side to said goodbye to the Other Side. The producers and writers of Fringe have truly done a great job!
Even though this show was awesome and one of my personal favorites I've always found Lincoln's exit weird. Becoming a permanent resident of the other side would probably involve a massive amount of logistics. Not only that but he probably knows people on his side that he didn't say goodbye to and probably still has stuff in his own apartment that he didn't get to bring with him. So to me if he planned to stay on the other side permanently beforehand and got everything in order i would have found the scene making a bit more sense. Its the same with the Alternate Universe Charlie Francis who's alive during S4 but never seen. Now its explained that he's on vacation with his newly wed wife, the Bug lady but still considering events you would think every Agent would have been needed. Also i highly doubt vacations last that long. And to me it was disappointing to see two good characters leave so abruptly without it making much sense. Especially for a show that puts a lot of detail in every episode it felt out of place.
I guest it was supposed to be a last minute decision from Lincoln... But what really bothers me it is that there is no real reason for him to make this decision. He had no romantic moments with Olivia. All they had was a five minutes conversation in a bar where she found him by pure chance... And after that he waited for her in the same bar after she said that she MAYBE go there. Also with Fauxlivia, there was not a single sign of any interest from her. Why moving to live in another universe, with no coming back, for a girl when you don't even know if she likes you. Just because she maybe liked your alternate? Worst of it: he doesn't like Fauxlivia either. He likes Olivia. Imagine this conversation when the bridge is closed: "I like Olivia, but since she chooses to be with Peter, I thought I could be with you". Not the best way to win a girl's heart.
@@rc1982 I would like to see a mini series about Lincoln living in the other side and inmersing himself in the vastly different culture and history that exists there... maybe we can learn some diferences with the history of our world and theirs...
@@rc1982 The way I see it Lincoln felt a connection with Olivia since both of there partners died and she was starting to finally open up to him. When Peter came back it was all over, and Olivia started getting her memories back. Honestly when the AltLincoln died, I had a feeling he was going to go there. It did seem last minute, but he really didn't have anyone left in his world so it made sense in a way.
@@rc1982 I agree with your observations on this one. Also, the scene between olivia and Lincoln in the penultimate episode of season 5 where she talks about the choices they both made doesn't really resonate because of those points you have mentioned.
Fringe is the greatest most underrated show of all time...The entire cast was awesome...John Noble was beyond terrific as Walter Bishop
I love it that just by looking at his face you immedietelly know which of the Bishops it is. Noble does a great job always.

I miss this show sooo much
very sad scene i hope they come back...
so intense. aww broyles has nobody to say goodbye to :/
Hi Jasika. Twitter real-life Fringe scientist here x
Now that Lincoln stays at the other side, there goes my chance for Altlincoln to come back!! In the end the Walter Peter scene, so sweet.
Walter was terrified that Peter might disappear when the machine gets shut down.
me too, but not too soon because that would take away the emotion form such a great scene
This is so sad ! ='( i hope they come back ! I already lost AltLincoln, i don't want to lose Our Lincoln ! ='(
I LOVE ASTRID
