This video is unbelievably helpful to me! I have one that I bought from another repeater owner 3 years ago…I used it for about a month then started having trouble with it …So sent it out 2 times for tuning same guy came back worse than it was …so put it on shelf for a year or longer and sent it out again to a different company for tuning came back pretty good lasted a couple weeks …so back on the shelf again…The other day for no good reason I hooked up my VNA to just one can and it look ok not perfect but not that far out of tune. I accidentally bumped the can I was working on and it fell on its face! So tapped it again and it was back tap again and gone…Found My Gremlin! I don’t know if I can fix it or not and it really don’t matter …but if I can …I would love it …. I really like this old equipment. So if I can fix it, I will need this info to tune it …I have more in tuning and shipping than what I paid for it …So thank you for doing this video …Dave
In your words (and not trying to be disrespectable but you laid out the steps in tuning the Duplexer you did not metion that you Normalized the Analyzer this should be done befor you trace out the UUT as this will afeacet the dB MESURMENTS IN LOSS OR GAIN.. YOU CAN ALSO USE MALTABIL MARKERS, SO YOU DONT NEED TO MOVE YOUR CENTER FREQ MARKER BACK AND FORTH OTHER THAN THAT GREAT VID

I'm really sorry you lost your Dad - God bless you my friend.
Thank you…. The Rigol DSA815 was so affordable compared to my first SA (HP/Agilent)
It’s now affordable for the “ham” to do shop work at home.

That was an excellent thing to point out. Thanks for that.
A very complicated procedure.
