Don't worry Meg, I'm 21 and my body changed SO MUCH it became really hard to deal with sometimes. None of my clothes fit me anymore and finding some which do is really difficult. I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone in this😌

I relate so much, my closet is so empty because I got rid of all my clothes from the past few years. I had to buy an entire new wardrobe. It doesn't feel so great some times but I'm trying to embrace minimalism :)

Thank you so much for talking about the body changes. I know for sure there’s things in my closet that don’t fit me because of the same issues. Thank you for speaking out and normalising this.

Can definitely relate to the body changing! I do think though, once you get rid of the items that don't fit/bum you out, it makes you appreciate the things you have left that all fit so much more.

Just went through this too; and I appreciate you sharing how it feels. Like you said, I’m grateful that I can easily buy more and move forward; but it’s not easy watching your body change and having to get rid of some fave pieces because they don’t fit.

Thank you so much for talking about body positivity! I'm also struggling after gaining 20 lbs (due to medication) and literally having to get a whole new wardrobe. It's an adjustment, but I'm trying to embrace my new look. Hearing you say that is very validating and you also look amazing ❤

When I started gaining weight after taking my medication I was ok with it at first but now I’ve gained more weight than I have my entire life and none of my clothes fit. I donated probably 90% of my clothes and sold some but a lot of them just didn’t fit and at first I was really upset but after awhile I realized having less clothes is actually a blessing. I don’t have to deal with decision fatigue and I know once I lose the weight I can go shopping and buy clothes that fit and that makes me feel great about myself 😊

Fantastic declutter motivation but everytime I'm watching those, I always hope that it will include while discarding any of the clothes that can't be donated as they're the ones I struggle to declutter. I always keep them in the garage for months/years before I realise I don't need them anymore.

i’m glad you enjoyed!!! i know that part is hard, and yes i did have to throw away some clothes with stains, tears etc. after this video unfortunately :((

@@megelizabeth Haha sadly it's always the case in clothes declutter, I think people either feel guilty of throwing away stuff or just don't think it's revelent to film. I personally have no struggle to donate clothes, but I have to discard.

Same thing happened when I hit 25,and now 35 something happened again.I just tried all my jeans and not one fits 😢, It does feel depressing at times, when I see certain styles and I am like nope never will fit like the model 😂 but I was like leggings and linen pants it is.

Hey Meg! As someone whose weight fluctuates a lot, I actually think that it’s okay to keep stuff that doesn’t currently fit you! There’s a few key elements to it though:
    1) take it out of your closet and store it somewhere out of sight, like under the bed, garage, etc. - like you said, opening your closet and constantly being confronted with things that aren’t right for you is not a great feeling, so definitely don’t want that
    2. Make sure it’s stuff you actually love - if you didn’t like it that much when it fit you, there’s zero reason to keep it in your life. Should only be stuff that you’re excited about and think you’d enjoy wearing again
    3. Be realistic - that’s probably the hardest part of this. Is it likely that you are back in that size again? Whether your body is bigger or smaller than it used to be, it’s helpful to think what might be the situation causing the weight fluctuation and if it’s likely to change in the near future. If something hasn’t fit you in five years - it probably won’t again. But like your husband said - if your lifestyle is likely to change over the summer, you might want to hold onto some of your favorites!
Hope this helps - it’s really hard to try to unlearn everything we’ve been told about weight and disassociating it from self worth, but it looks like you’re on the right track! ❤

thank you so much for all your ideas!!! i did end up keeping a few things (the most expensive so i don’t have to rebuy😅😅) and put them in a different area just like you said!

do you mean oversized tshirts specifically? if so, a lot of them are just from vacations, but i do have some from skims, boys lie, and talentless :))

Women deal with a lot of weight changes, and it is so frustrating. I’m 40 now - 2 kids. My body changed again this year - I feel very fit, and I’m more muscular. But my body is just different. It happens, and it will continue to happen. ❤️
