My number 1 is freeze blade. He was the first Swapper is nearly dying to get. His speed mixed with his freeze ability that makes most enemies immobile. Also his charge up move which can kill multiple weaker enemies in a second. The bottom path of “blade” is also amazing at crowed control and has solid overall damage. Rant over and I respect that freeze blade isn’t for everyone so on that note all just “keeping it cool” and skate on

Gotta argue with that, I'm sorry but while night shift is exeptionally strong I can't get over the absurdity that is a campy rattle shake. It's not fun but oh boy does it work.
I haven't played this game since I was a kid but ngl I didn't think a single swap character was weak or boring this game had so many awesome characters I couldn't imagine making a top 16 for this skylander team where all the others have some pretty bad characters in their team's swap force will always be in my opinion the strongest skylands team. Notice how Rubble Rouser is overshadowed by Doom Stone? I actually own Rubble Rouser, and I can proudly say, he's on of the best swappers in my collection.
My favorite sky lander ever is blast zone because when you get his soul gem which can be easier in other games he tears through so much and plus he has a amazing design in my opinion
In Swap Force I found a combo that has won me many of games and beats levels, challenges, etc. without taking damage, but only if you know how to correctly use it By adding Free Ranger's bottom and rattle shakes top For me this combo is basically unstoppable if of course you know how to use it But that's just me.
This is my favourite swaper swap: Doom bomb. Reasons: a nice name, combination of two of my favourite swapers ( doomstone and stinkbomb.), looks cool (any top looks good on stinkbombs bottom) and it's a pretty good combination of abilities.
I'm surprised not to see Rumble Rouser at least the top 3. His burrowing attack makes him unhittable, and even his top half is solid for close and mid range. Free Ranger, while having kind of a crappy top also has a very broken bottom in that you can spin most enemies around and toss them off of platforms, even when they have invincibility shields on. They nerfed him in later games, but these two had such good bottoms that you could use with Rattle or Magna and have a total package. Night Shift is probably the most fun to play with for me, and the "moe money and moe problems" thing they have in his bio is great.
I like Trap Shadow, but I had to give him up for Stink Bomb and Hoot Loop, who are still good, but not as good as Trap Shadow. I once thought that swap force was going to involve all the limbs being swapable, and there are no female swap characters, but of course we all know why. Some characters that I like include Grilla Drilla, Rubble Rouser, Fire Kraken, Trap Shadow, Night Shift, and Wash Buckler. Also I never knew Cluck actually made his debut in this game instead of Superchargers.

also if you bury yourself underground by holding his secondary attack it becomes useful in swarms of enemies.

Even for someone who got Doom Stone when he first came out like me, I absolutely agree with the fact that he is the best swapper.
My favorite is definitely Trap Shadow. He looks so cool, and his attacks r pretty good too.
