14yrs old, and I live for music like this. Glad I grew up with songs like this. How me and my mom would bond in the car on the road trips 🤍🤝🏼 and it's still like that.
A kick, clap, cymbals, a strong lead, an arp, and a pad, and still sounds better than the tons of big room with its layered saws and chopped vocals. This music is still the shit.
If you havent walked in a club while the intro of this song is playing and you being the only sober person in there.... You have never felt what it feels like being the main character.
Maybe not but sitting alone in a bar sober, knowing everyone hates you and you hate them back if not more while DMX Party Up is playing is also kinda main character vibe
There's just something about late 90's early 00's trance that'll never be had again. No one does 2 minute long drops without vocals anymore. Drop be so long you think the beat came in but it's just more drop. Simple. Effective. Perfection.

Heh, just played it again and flashed back to a time when this had just released, we were at the Brixton Academy, and doing a line dance to this seemed like a good idea.
+Kelly Marie No, sorry. Club scene in Blade 2 is BT - Tao of the Machine. This does have the same sound effect as the original Blade club rave, so I can see how you would think it's from there.
I had a huge crush on this girl I used to work with but she barely noticed me. She loved going to raves and little did she know I play keyboard and could play this song. There was a rave happening in town that she went to and I’ll never forget the look on her face when she saw me on stage playing this song. That girl is now my wife.

I heard this song at a rave in 2000 or 2001 and had probably heard it once or twice on the radio before (C89.5fm in Seattle), but didn't know who it was. Then one morning I woke up and thought to myself, "Voodoo & Serano." I had apparently heard the name somewhere but no Idea where as the radio station did not publish playlists at that time and had a habit of not disclosing the artist. I looked it up, and to my surprise it was correct! Shortly after that, I was visiting a friend in Alaska and during a short stopover in Juneau, I walked into a music store in a small 'mall.' They had a very small "Techno" section, and in it was the new Voodoo & Serano album. Needless to say, I bought it. For the last month or so, it's been on repeat in my truck...never gets old! :)
This song gets you so pumped and energized when your at a Minnesota Wild hockey game. They play this song before every Minnesota Wild powerplay. There is also a strobe light over the opponents penalty box that flashes lights which makes it extra epic!

I can't stop laughing about what you kids call trance now. This is classic club-thumping hard house from 1998 or 1999. This song would shake the club's plaster off the walls and cause all sorts of dance floor mayhem! The last thing anyone would have called this back then would be trance.

Wow, this is old but gold. My brother showed this to me when it was new.
golden age of trance
elcano693 this came out way after the " golden age of trance "
when was the golden age? because this was released in 2001. i always thought 97-2003 was like the best trance run..
I can't stop laughing about what you kids call trance now. This is classic club-thumping hard house from 1998 or 1999. This song would shake the club's plaster off the walls and cause all sorts of dance floor mayhem! The last thing anyone would have called this back then would be trance.
This isn’t even trance though...
Slartybarfast B
whats it called ?
Man this reminds me of going raving in the 90's, drop two extasy and you were good all night long.... Miami was a great place to the 80's and 90's.....
As soon as you drop the second one,the first one kicks in
So many memories! I'm now dancing to this with my young fella!!
This is awesome keep playing it full blast me plaster falling off the walls and me neighbors two street's down banging to it
