Once the Undead come a Knockin' they are very welcomed house guests. So grate them right. A Ballista Tower, some walls and barbed wire traps. They'll love that... lets just hope you can stop them all before they eat you like a meat pack from your local butchers.

To be honest for me traps are a godsend, I tend to have a layer of them outside my wall and its helped destroy waves of zombies,
The damage they do is pretty decent and yeah they can be a bit pricey but they can damage more zombies at once than most early ranks of soldiers...
You accidentally said the wood gate "Automatically lets enemies through". Great video btw!

Came here thinking you would actually give comparisons between defenses and was sorely disappointed. Really all the information you gave is learned in 1 playthrough. Would have been nice to know more about why some of these structures would be good/bad. IE: gates have more hp, but get hit from so many mobs at once that they go down faster, so they are a worse option than just walling off an entire side if possible; or that you can just put up a lookout/radar tower real quick, to get the lay of the land, and then destroy it to get some resources and a worker back.

what do you think is better, an executor or stone tower with 4 soldiers? how bout 4 vet soldiers or maybe even 4 vet snipers in a stone tower vs executor?

Euhh... I was expecting a tutorial on how to build good defenses and stuff. You basically just read the stats of a couple buildings
I will be, this is mainly focused at new players to show them what all the defences/wall/traps and their stats! I'll definitely be doing some more advanced tutorials :)

Why are some of the healthbars split green and yellow? I'm quite new to the game and can't figure it out
they need to add a separate radius for the shock tower, one the range it will hit up to and the second, inner would be the range it will activate its attacks.
It activates with any single infected within its radius, provided its fully charged! I wish they could add a way it’ll only fire if a certain amount are around it, even a manual button! :)
yea, i feel that the second radius would allow more zombies to get into the zone before it goes off.
Great video mate but could you also make actual guides in the future? Things like how to handle resources, how to create the perfect eco, what units to buy etc. Cause I struggle after hard setting (big horde with 100 days)

Good tips and tricks, you did a nice job showing all devices in the same spoot. My favorite tactic is what you did at 1:40, which is great when I want to get rid of a large group of infected. It's nice to present various aspects of defense in the presented and accessible way. Regards Maluk.
hi (sorry 4 bad english)... need help... how to do thanatos and how to find soldiers (i did some sniper, but i send them to defend an area, but now i do not know where in the entire city are)... soon i will do another questions because this game is extremly hard!!!! please and thanks!!!
Static defenses in the game are broken, they do very little damage to zombie swarms .The only way to survive the final wave is to have hundreds of Snipers.
Tesla Coils are the best for me. Either it has a slow recharge but high damage poke to the swarm of zombies. For me the Giant bow is crappy but still good for poking giant zombies. For the last is the Gun turret tower? Balance crowd control but not good for giant swarms :D also gg when swarm breaks in turret will be confused xd i tried once and ez breach for the zombies. Still its everybody have a weapon of choice. Have fun and reset xd.
ahh im so glad Scrap Computer plays this. New channel though? Probably because your Scrap Computer channel has an audience which does not enjoy this genra of games. But hey, glad to see you're making alright content!

thank you, no matter what strategies i can't seem to win on any difficulty, but then again i think that's mainly to do with not paying enough attention to my tents and 1 little zombie sweeps my whole base
You haven’t experienced true fear, if you haven’t watched one zombies wipe your whole base out from a tent or a Tesla tower! Just got to be on the lookout! You’ll beat it trust me! Took me 18 attempts at 40 hours before I beat it the first time :)
ive got 17hours according to steam so yea i got some time but ive had like 30 attempts all failures and only about 4 of them were good tries, and only 1 of them did i actually even get close to beating it, i only lost because i failed to get a shocking tower up in time for the 2nd last hoard and by the time it got up it was to late to save my base from the infected onslaught, so yea in short ive experienced 1 zombie wiping out my enire base like 20 times already, i realy suck at paying attention to multiple thing at the same time
Idk what I did wrong but I'm currently at Round 82, the horde just attacked at around 78 and went through 4 wood gates so fast (but I managed to hold them off!) all I have are Wood gates, regular wood spikes and no freaking gun turrets or "lucifers" wtf. Idk what to do lol I thought wood workshop was all I needed to upgrade stuff but I guess not, Ima die so easily in the next horde.
Well you need to research the stone workshop at the wood workshop, then build a stone workshop and research the foundry, then research the gun turrets and titans :) if you need anymore help let me know! :)

Looks like this is a bit out of date now because you can't build Titans as soon as you get the engineering bay. You need to spend an absolute crapload of money to research them first. (Also there's the Thanatos).

They do! Just sometimes they target a wall and stay out of range, they are smart 😂 :)
They are lower priority than harpies and chubbies though, which is a problem.
Need to micro some snipers or thanatos to handle spitters in horde.
out of my 30+ tries i've never even seen a spitter only fatties and harpies
wish there was a custom target where you can set up your own priority list from highest priority to least.
Reading stats, going through all the different types, listing it all doesn't help me. I could just read the midi for that. HOW do you use them and WHY would you chose this over that or what about placement and general tips on defense. I guess the "training" of soldiers I guess, I am going to miss because after 75% of this video and still nothing but reciting what is in the game...I gave up. Biggest help I got this whole video was when I paused over his base and just figured stuff out for myself.....if you are going to ramble at least ramble about something that isn't a list I could just wiki and read.
"You get the engineering centre from a refinery"? Huh? I was so confused as wherever I looked in game I couldn't build this and I lost because I couldn't make any Titans or late game stuff on ths first map :/

I heard shocker towers are bad but you make them seem good, are they good?
Shocker towers can be good in choke points if you defend them with snipers against spitters and harpies and chubbies! They are ‘glass cannon’ get a good chokepoints and they’ll kill a hell of a lot more infected for the investment, put it in a bad place with no protection and it’ll just be a -30 energy tower that does very little! I’ll be doing videos on it in more depth :)

Thought this vid was about how to utilize the walls and turrrets or something, but its literally just saying literally what it is lol don't really need a video just to find out what they do or what I can read off their description..
This was released in the first days the game was out, nobody knew what defences where available or how to get them, I’m working on tactics and strategy for defences, however this video did what it was intended too :)

The info in this video is misleding and very minor, it has no purpose and reveals nothing new.
The video is meant for complete beginners to get an understanding of what’s available and where to research it! I’ll be doing more advanced videos on defence techniques but as the game was only released when this was made I simply put every defence and explained them in a nice wee video :)
