This tutorial shows you how to edit your design onto a mockup that has hair covering the design area. This simple Canva hack makes it easy to layer your design, similar to a mask effect in photoshop.

Another way you can do this with the hair is just copy and paste another copy of the mockup on top of the one with the hair. Then hit erase background - then erase everything but the hair you want to keep in. So now the hair will go in front of the design. It saves you from having to download and upload your original mock and it's just a little faster.

It just depends on how hard it is to erase the area around the hair, and personal preference I suppose!

@@fitkittytries You're right - it can be difficult to cut around the hair. Thank you for your reply.

Thank you SO MUCH! I have wasted so much time trying to figure this out. BTW, you do a great job in that you get right to the point, I'm busy and really appreciate your approach. I just subscribed to your channel and will be back.

I have tried uploading several fonts to canvas, from CF, and it keeps telling me that the file is corrupt or they only support TTF or OTF, and a few others, but it is a TTF or OTF. It’s really frustrating.

that's super annoying, are the zipped files? a lot of font downloads come zipped and need to be unzipped before using in Canva, but all the Creative Fabrica ones should work with Canva Pro

I’ve had that issue a few times also, but I’ve uploaded more fonts than I’ve had issues with.
