Desert Camping | Borrego Palm Canyon Campground

Well, our journey has begun! Join Julie, Dick, Abby and Boxy the Van (a new-to-us 2022 Travato 59K) as we head out to Borrego Springs and enjoy the all the peace, serenity and sunny winter weather that Borrego Palm Canyon Campground had to offer. Slowing down, taking some photos, and cooking some food - it was an excellent start to our #vanlife adventures. Only a few little mishaps so far, but nothing that didn't make us laugh.

Frozen greens...oh no. Is the fridge working properly? This one of my few concerns with the Travato.

I think it’s a combo of it being turned too low and the door flap not closing all the way. Things got better when we adjusted both of those things.

we missed it sadly! I was looking forward to cozying up inside but we had to come back to take care of some business before heading back out
