45:59 I think Paulie actually played it right here. Big Eye take Naturia Beast sounds crazy at first until you realize Nat Beast can't activate effect under Arise-Heart because it mills to GY as cost.

biggest ycs was long beach in 2012 with 4364 players, so it was 1100 more then 3200 of this event but I think this was the 2nd biggest.
This Runic player is blatantly slow playing this cannot be normal. Kash finished first turn 5 minutes and it took Jesse 10 to make Bagooska pass.

I wonder if the reason to not Big Eye take Nat Beast is that it can't activate under Naturia Beast. With that said it is still layered interrupt that still locks your opponent out playing the game even after popping Arise-heart, and is still better than taking Fleur if Jesse chained Fleur's effect to burn it.

Yeah that could've changed a lot to be honest. It was the obvious play but I think he was already feeling defeated and Paulie was probably relieved that he let it go through. Those small mistakes add up.

@@orga7777 He should've activated Fleur's effect to negate even though Fleur was negated. That way, it would not be usable by the opponent on the next turn. You can still attempt to activate effects even if the monster is negated. As long as the activation requirement is met, it's legal to activate unless something literally says "monsters cannot activate" or something.
