As someone who has used Windows my whole life, I also never thought I would make the switch, but since I've heard that they known for their long battery life and great for software development, I think it might be time to try it out. Awesome :), I will definitely say using a Mac has improved my workflow and productivity so as you're doing comp sci I would recommend this base model or even the M2 to save some money
Loving my base model MacBook Pro with M3 ! the silver color looks different to other silvers tbh. I don't know if its the black keyboard contrasting the white unibody design but honestly, the silver variant is just so good looking and looks better than older versions imo.
hahahhahaha the failed sticker tear of the sticker in the beginning is sooo funny and frustrating. But the video is soooo calming and nice vibed. LOVE IT
Super video! Congrats ! I'm undecided between this base model or a full spec MacBook Air 15 with more ram (24gb)and more storage SSD (1tb). Because I do not want spend more.
I don't know if it's only me, but I like watching tech videos with voice over, I mean, there's just a lot to observe and I'll need to read the subtitle simultaneously?? It's just easier to watch one with voice over❤
Also if you want to use dual screens + your monitor on the M3, best option is to get a usb-c dock that has a hdmi input, and then plug one hdmi into your usb-c hdmi dock and the other into your directly macbook So annoying but its the only way to have three screens.
@@ona.dev_ I took a long time to decide. Managed to save 1500 Pounds from a reseller. These computers are so different than my last machine 17" MacBook Pro 2009. The CPUs are so good now I won't be concerned with the fans blowing probably ever in day to day use fingers crossed. The weight difference has dropped by a third. An amazing battery life. The Pros have all the better stuff DKTrackpad sound. The coating is really decent but it still is paint so be careful, it's slippery than that silver version but I tend to baby my tech. I could have made it work with the 14 M3 but that 8gb would be a silly move and I wouldn't trust its SSD from lasting too long as a scratch disk, with my work in the browser and internet maybe but. Big screen is where I like it mostly no need to find something bigger. I would have got the Max but the money I can use better serves a new phone when the time comes to it. I am able to share my iPad Pro and get more screens. So much has changed for better. I recommend AlDente to keep the battery half or 55% as that holds the charge for long term use (research why storing Lithium batteries long term is 50% and fully charge to recalibrate every so often). 🙌

Battery was definitely a game changer, i bought mine and straight from the box the 56% lasted for 3 days 😅 I am editing on adobe apps btw

Yes definitely, you should have a somewhat smooth experience editing 4K videos
