NJ resident here. The two “New York” teams playing in NJ but not having an NJ name is part of the reason I’ve always been a steeler fan. Couldn’t stand it. Had nothing to root for

The way you can really help a battered OL is to add a weapon, spending whatever it takes to get a real life playmaker (with at least one more season of control - a high end rental for cheap works too) in order to give all phases a little more space by getting that extra safety out of the box & slowing down hard filling backers/blitzes.
The Steelers WR's are currently #32 in "separation per route run" & "target separation" metrics. Calvin Austin isn't as open as the film appears (he's a 4.3 guy of course he's going to eventually pull away from guys), but where it matters, out of his break, he's 87th. Van Jefferson? 2nd to last behind Devonte Adams, who only played a few games, injured & disgruntled. So the #3 stuggles to get open when the #2 can't create any space or production, & the #2 is the least productive/least potentially productive WR in the NFL with at least 100 snaps ...
but changing QB's is going to somehow get these guys open & exceed what their own metrics predict? Sounds dumb to me too. I appreciate DK for being consistent as it gets on this.

In my mind, anytime there is a missed opportunity to improve the roster and/or holes in the roster are exposed/exploited, that lies at the foot of the GM
I, for one, am not interested in giving away draft capital to get a veteran backup center to fill in for Frazier in the event he misses the Jets and/or Giants game(s).
It remains to be seen if Frazier will even miss any time and, if he does, it would likely take the new center a couple of weeks just to get acclimated.
Keep your capital, and get your existing players prepared to go.
As for upgrading the receiver room, that needs to happen. Hopefully, Roman Wilson is an eventual part of the solution.
Pickens, I'm afraid, is not a long-term answer. Even if he has the talent to be a #1, he can't seem to get out of his own way with his selfishness and childish antics.
A heavy investment in the future of the WR room is undoubtedly forthcoming next April.

The Steelers should not trade a qb who we need on the depth chart.There is no way.QBs get hurt so understand trading a qb that you may need is foolish.Khan overestimated the other receivers outside of Pickens.He put all his eggs in one basket and not having a backup plan was just stupid.How can they comment in training camp that they were happy with their receivers.Better QBs and offenses unless JF becomes more consistent throwing the ball will stifle the running game.Now here’s hoping for better hands and greater separation for receivers so the Steelers can keep up in a shoot out.Please throw to Pickens,Muth and CA III strengths.Plese stop with the razzle dazzle also.Our o line cannot hold blocks long enough as it is.

I realise that it's the job of people who are paid to talk to donlotsbof talking. So it's fun when you look at the colts and say 'they can't run the ball' and they proceed to do exactly that against a high ranked defence. The truth is that nobody really knows what will happen. But it's fun to speculate!
