My wife and I stayed there Christmas night. We loved our room and the hotel was just beautiful. We closed out our day up in Alle 66 with amazing views of the strip. If I come back to Las Vegas, it will be to stay an spend more time at the Conrad at Resorts World.
I stayed at the Conrad in Resorts World, and it was a great stay!! Their room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The food from the food court was delicious. This is one of my favorite hotels. I will be staying at Crockfords this May.
We love it. Always Have a good time. It’s beautiful. Good vibes, plentiful options for food….and it’s not so massive you have to walk across Clark County to get everywhere.
Hi Chris. Thanks for your update on Resorts World. Nice to see that it is still sort of busy, but I assume not what RW expected. The District shopping area is just as bad as it was when you first visited. Hope they can think of something to improve the foo traffic because that is a lot space to have without people spending time and money in those places. I feel that they do cater to the convention crowd. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thanks for the update, Chris! Had full intentions of investigating the resort the last time I was in Vegas….but the exterior from LVB level is soooo uninviting and with such a huge scale it just seems like a huge parking structure. There isn’t anything in this mall-ino that I need in my life…so hard pass for me!
I have stayed at the Hilton and also visited when staying elsewhere. The food court places are overpriced (even in LV terms), although I think reality might be hitting them now. I'll see when I stay there in a couple of weeks from today. It appears that there will be a pedestrian bridge built over the strip at RW in the near term.
Agreed. The Food Court prices was the must head scratching. Only ended up trying that place once. Might take a look again if you are saying they are getting a reality check.
Seems to me they are getting their footing. Clean and airy with an excellent slots setup. They get a little more competitive with pricing and packages I certainly would like to book a stay
All of the new properties in Las Vegas just feel like the same stuff again and again. It may be passé to have a strongly themed resort ( like Paris, Venetian etc ) but the funny thing is that I think if you asked the general public what symbolizes Las Vegas the most, and what makes it most fun, you would hear about the themed places. It’s hard to put my finger on it, but somebody else said that this looks like a giant mall. And I think that’s correct… It’s like being in an empty mall with hallways that are too big and the really nice Macy’s at one end, and all these perfume shops that nobody is going to go into.
Fontainebleau is more of the same (resorts world) I was so disappointed by both this last trip. However, something about wynn and encore, had me going back for more. Something electric there.
Man, it's hard to shake feeling that bad timing has haunted this place. Opening as Covid winding down on general killed momementum, then building a giant mall in an Era of malls slowly dying. The parking isn't helping too. Just a sad sight overall.
Great video yet again! Your experience greatly helps in the review of these “zombie “ traps. Your knowledge of food is greatly appreciated. Reminds me of my Naval officer father who spent years in the orient. He was an Asian food encyclopedia.
When did you visit? I walked through every night around 6PM during CES week (January Week Two) and 95% of the food court stalls were not open or operating. I was shocked to see it so empty during one of the biggest convention weeks of the year!
I've visited Resorts World once so far and liked the looks inside. And I've heard from many people that the rooms are super nice. But there seems to be way too much dead space right now and very little to do. If the place was half the size it is it would be ideal in my view. If they don't do something quick to improve foot traffic it will be the biggest bust on the strip in 3 years.
Thanks for the tour! I’m still a fan of the Venetian the most. The hotel is gorgeous (we love the Palazzo), the vibe is chill yet fun, the pool is fantastic, and the rooms are the best we’ve discovered in Vegas. And it is themed! So much fun to stay there, we pretty much don’t leave.
How’d you walk by the Suns Out Buns Out spinning egg sign without putting it on camera? By the way- that place makes a short rib sandwich which is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had
Ah.. because I shot a scene inside Suns Out Buns Out for my What's New in Vegas video that will be out soon. Agreed their breakfast sandwiches are really good!
Hi Chris, you sure are busy on this trip going to video all these hotels/casinos! I went to RW a few months after they opened and tried the food court with all those Malay and Singaporean vendors. We didn't think that they were as good as you get in Asia, but it was still OK. There was not much else going on and I wondered if RW would make it? You can now go to the other locations and make a RW themed travel video. There is one on Sentosa Island in Singapore and another in the Genting Highlands just outside Kuala Lumpur. On you next trip to Asia consider Kuala Lumpur and Penang. Both are spectacular, much like Singapore, but cheaper. We were thinking about going to Sapporo for the snow festival in February, but decided it's too cold 🥶and we are heading back to warm 🥵 Malaysia instead. Went there twice this year and going back again. We love it there and have been going back many times over the last 20 years. We usually go through Singapore, great jet-lag city.😁
I've checked this place out thanks to your channel last yr. I've also checked it out again this yr and the mall is still pretty dead. I'm not sure how the stores are still surviving. The food court restaurant was a tad bit expensive. The dealers at the gambling tables I thought wasn't as friendly compared to other places on the strip club which leaves me with a bad impression of the hotel services. The hotel itself looks very nice but I feel like it's missing something.
I spent a lot of many whenever I visited Vegas. Unfortunately, Resort World is not one of those casinos that are aggressive to give gamblers more incentives to stay. I usualy spent very little time gambling in the casino before heading back to my hotel.
Stayed at Crockfords during SEMA and really enjoyed my stay, room was clean and new with an amazing view… Granted it was during a convention so it was packed, but I have been here mid week and even a weekend night during normal weekends and it is really disappointingly dead. As for the food, I would rather go to china town for asian food… was not impressed by street eats.
I have never been here but the prices in the food court are disgraceful. We would probably find a restaurant or a coffee shop for food and drink.Loved the hotel lobby area,i i think i would stay in the Conrad.
I love Vegas so much, have been visiting since 1998 every two years, the resorts world and Fontainebleau will not survive, i agree we need to see more themed hotels minus the resort fees and more buffets. A transport system direct to these hotels, as they are not within walking distance. Place looks like a ghost town, i have been to Resorts World and was not impressed, the Fontainebleau looks nice, but its too much like a shopping mall. The Peppermill steakhouse has survived for decades as it has something to offer and the interior looks amazing. Look what happened to the Lucky Dragon, it lasted two years and closed for good, it's not a great area. I am surprised Circus Circus has lasted but it's cheap.
Looks like RW was in a rush to open. Definitely, bad timing. Too many hotels in Vegas going with a mall themed resort. This mega resort also opening on the north end of the strip, is hurting for foot traffic. It also looks overbuilt.
I would rather have my finger nails pulled out one at a time than ever stay at Crock*fords again. (Diamond Hilton for 5 years). Is the speakeasy still there? Gatsby's has a secret drink menu that is great.
Is this casino non-smoking? I was in the Venetian on February 10, 2024 and it reeked of tobacco smoke. Made me want to vomit. I can’t enjoy eating if the place reeks of tobacco smoke.
I visited in 2022 and found it to be a nice property but a little soulless and empty feeling. This was largely down to the fact it wasn't very busy even during June weekends. It's going to need a reason for people to go there long term and I'm not sure what that really is currently. I agree the food court is good and unique but it's also pretty pricey even by Vegas standards and feels a bit like a novelty once you've visited once.
Las vegas is too overpriced. I simply see some casinos closing down. If you dont provide value , peope are not going to go there. Resort fees, charge to park your car. Come on man. Vegas is only for people who make a lot of money. Working class peope wont pay these outrageous prices.
Yes, if you wanna fully experience everything it has to offer then of course it’s gonna be expensive. You can definitely go, eat and drink cheaply, don’t gamble, don’t go to any shows, and basically just sight see whatever you can.
Just stayed at Fountainbleau this week. It has no wow factor and no excitement! The layout is dull and bland like walking into an airport terminal. Even though the hotel was barely opened within a week, the flooring look so worn-out! Poor choice of designed because their entire hotel flooring is so prone to scratches. All the carpets are already peeling off looking like the hotel was over 20 yrs old. Their 70's vibe just didn't do much for us. We were not impressed with their room serice and room either. Horrible room service! Their room cleaners were lazy. We noticed they reused all the dirty towels and robes we already used and threw on the floor as replacements. Reason, we knew was because the towels were the exact wet and dirty ones we used up already. Not to mention the robe was the same stinky smelly one. If you call them to fix certain things in your room, they won't bother to even show up eventhough they say they will send someone up to your room. The food court area doesn't have much to offer, etc etc. Overall, we won't be booking with Fountainbleau in the near future.
Who paid you to say this. lol that hotel is by far one of the best in the world. The styling is not 70’s and the carpet is not peeling up. Go hate yourself instead of hating everything else. Your life is the problem not the hotel

Right, do people even buy anything there? They would be better off putting in a CVS, maybe even a ross in there.
love these.. keep em coming. I gotta make it out to Resorts World!
Thanks Aero!
My fav place to stay in vegas! Great video Chris 🎉
Thanks Janelle!
Mine, too!!
@@otrebla8944my favorite too
The prices in the RW food court are outrageous. We walked over to the Fontainebleau for much more reasonably priced offerings.
And the quality is mediocre as well, I was not impressed.. Thankfully Chinatown is 8 minutes away
They both need buffets to compete with Wynn and Caesars.
agreed food is way over price, taste nothing special. major fail.

Ah man I’m in Vegas today-Sunday. Hope I run into you and say hi!
Thanks for the update, Chris! There isn’t anything in this mall-ino that I need in my life…so hard pass for me!
Is it walk-able to the north of the strip or is it not recommended even it is doable, like it is too ghetto in between, etc
I have been here about 15 times and have never been on the second floor. Turns out I was missing a lot lol
awesome tour
The Durango is the Newest Hotel in Las Vegas and it's really nice!!!!!!
Might hit up Resorts World on my trip next month if I can squeeze it in. I do want to visit the new Fountainbleu because I haven't been there yet.
I have stayed at the Hilton and also visited when staying elsewhere. The food court places are overpriced (even in LV terms), although I think reality might be hitting them now. Man, it's hard to shake feeling that bad timing has haunted this place. Opening as Covid winding down on general killed momementum, then building a giant mall in an Era of malls slowly dying. The parking isn't helping too. Just a sad sight overall.
Not to mention the rampant raising prices, table minimums, reduced benefits etc
They have one in the Philippines, it's successful there because Filipinos love malls
Can you advise on what time would be best to check into the Conrad On a Friday to avoid long lines and waiting time? Thanks in advance
Your guess is as good as mine! I'd probably say earlier is better
Great video yet again! Your experience greatly helps in the review of these “zombie “ traps. Your knowledge of food is greatly appreciated. Reminds me of my Naval officer father who spent years in the orient. He was an Asian food encyclopedia.
Right on... thanks Jay!
Give me an older themed Casino any day. Rebuild the Stardust. They should build Casinos in the 50s and 60s style. This RW casino is depressing. 😂
When did you visit? I walked through every night around 6PM during CES week (January Week Two) and 95% of the food court stalls were not open or operating. I was shocked to see it so empty during one of the biggest convention weeks of the year!
This was December 23rd

F1 contract with Vegas up to 10 years. Not guaranteed. Can be as little as three years, meaning potentially 2 years remaining.
It was considered one of the best races this season, so unlikely just 2 years.
Thanks for the clarification
Are the three hotels connected in one way or another?
Yes. Connected by the common casino.. and all in the same tower. Rooms are just on different floors with different elevators that access then
Thanks for the tour!
Venetian review coming soon! 😀
Street Bird is Good. We ate outside in MAY
I heard that RW has got the ABBA voyage concert show coming. Anyone know if that's true?? If so, im there!
The short rib poutine is out of this world.
We want a pool for a vegas trip in a few weeks. Should we stay at Resorts World or MGM?
I like the Resorts World pool for those 1 foot deep lounging areas.. MGM Grand has a lazy river.. so that's nice too
There’s one of these in my home city of Birmingham
40+ restaurants?! It would take 10-15 days just to eat in all of them! An interesting challenge...
"Rabbit kissing a dog on top of a hippopotamus"?! "Interesting" is not the first word that comes to mind...
Hah
Sun's out buns out is open 10:00 p.m. to noon 😁 so they get the late night eaters and post nightclub crowd and morning breakfast people
Those are some interesting hours!
