I want to use this spread sheet for our small company but one thing I am having issues with is how to add in the number of Sick Days allowed and how to delete the top person in the employee list or the holiday list. For example we do not celebrate boxing day in the USA so I need to know h ow to delete it from the list because it is the top line with no x to the side of that line. So we also allow paid sick/personal days and I need a way to track those as well in the "available to take" days. Is there a way I can add an extra column on the employee list that will allow these to also be tracked in "available"? They will need to be separated from vacation days because they are not allowed to be carried over.
1. you can specify annual leave entitlement. There is no option to enter sick days 'entitlement' or personal days 'entitlement'; 2. the top row can be edited, and cannot be deleted. To delete it just change the name and surname to a XXX and then re-sort the table by adding a new entry (or a dummy entry). The XXX will drop to the bottom of the table and then you can delete it. The reason for this is to make sure that there is always min one entry in each table; 3. adding extra columns would mess up vba, so even if it was allowed this would not be recommended.
Hi. Go to the Settings tab and change the "business year starts in:" to August. Next go to the Detailed View and you will notice that the top most month is now August. This also affects how leave and other stats are calculated in the Overview.
Thank you for making this spreadsheet. After reviewing your video, I tried adding employees. I edited the existing ones and when I added an employee in the white area, it moved the name and information below the other employees in the grey space. When I added another employee in the white area, the existing name in the grey area was overwritten by the new name. Would you please advise how to correct this and add more employees to the table. Thank you.

Hello, can a number value be added to the leave titles? Also, does the sheet have the ability to span across multiple years? I need a rolling count across years. Example: If an employee has a number value (attendance points) on 10/6/17 value of .5, 12/1/17 value of 1 and 1/2/18 value of 1.5, I need to have a value displayed in the totals as a total of 3. Is that doable? I would like to use this sheet to track my company's attendance.
Leave type names and leave category names are editable. I cannot see any issue with introducing digits into these names. Although the annual leave (can be changed to: vacation) and sick leave categories cannot be edited. The spreadsheet does span across multiple years. It is not designed as an attendance point system.

Send me the file you are using. Maybe it got corrupt as this does not sound like designed behaviour.
