Excellent & very interesting video Clive showcasing beautiful west coast scenery & some of the challenges faced by locals. Pity about the ruling on “non island” status but predictable I guess. Did you drive or cycle over the bridge? Thanks for sharing & look forward to the next one👍🏻

Thanks for your comment. I drove over - that's my blue van with the saltire. I also walked back and forth a couple of times. Interestingly my research indicated that the EU ruled that Great Britain isn't an island because of the Channel Tunnel, but since Brexit that has become irrelevant.

Thank you for your reply. Wonder if Australia is an island🤔😄 I stay near the Brig O’ Doon in Alloway …have you visited there? Very picturesque just like the Clachan Bridge!

Interesting video Clive.😊The annual world stone skimming championship takes place on Easdale. I've been told that the island is pronounced 'Sale' by my dad who has visited Seil. I don't know what's right because I don't speak Gaelic. Anyway I look forward to your next video; thank you.☑

Thanks for your comment. I must admit to not being 100% sure how to sale Seil, but was never corrected while there! Pronunciation can vary, and my film about Tyndrum gave me an opportunity to give my views on that!
