The Texas game was the first Gator game I haven’t watched in years and I have 0 desire to even watch the highlights

Bench Jordan Castell for God’s sake. Blows coverages, refuses to lay anyone out, afraid to tackle, wrong angles on 95% of open field tackles. Put Greg Smith in, can’t get any worse. Castell is beyond awful this year

NIL and the money is what matters most for recruiting and transfers. Look at last years class and now this one where the idea that having DJ Lagway alone would help land top skill players who want to play with him.
JSmith still went to Ohio St, JMoore flipped to Miami whos 2025 QB is UNK and now NMontgomery is visiting Bama. Does Andy Jean transfer out after 2 years of little to no production (maybe due to injuries) as well?
Bottom line, Fla NIL will need to step up big time here out because that's what's needed to land top classes and players, especially for unproven current day programs. This is something the UAA needs to address regardless who the HC at UF is

We have got to use some of the big NIL $$ they are gonna give Napier this off season and get 1 or 2 elite pass rushers off the edge to pair with LJ McCray and Pyburn cause we don’t have any elite pass rushers on our DLine

Only when u let the pass rusher actually rush the passer. Against Texas we went back to the simulated pressures dropping pass rushers into coverage. Ex. GUMS. At one point they had Watson at DE.

This is such a disaster it’s gonna take 5-10 years to dig out of this hole.
Going all in on portal recruiting mean this HS recruiting class is nonexistent. So when Napier once again fields a team that is terrible next years HS recruiting class will be nonexistent as well!
TWO YEARS NO REAL HS CLASS. THIS IS A DISASTER.

Comparing DJU to GNussmeir is asinine. Will you need to look more at the film and watch the games than just looking at stats.
GNussmier is an NFL prospect having to overcompensate for the lack of running game LSU has this year whereas DJU has been irrelevant to awful every where he’s played.

I don't understand this statement. That buyout money is not a slushfund. It is hard earned money raised by donors for a specific purpose. These donors have lost faith in the Billy system. They don't think is headed in the right direction. So they raised the 27M to get rid of him. If its not going to the purpose they want, they will pull it back and invest it elsewhere. Why on earth would they give him his own buyout $$ to let him spend it where he wants when they don't believe in his coaching ability?
