With as much time as you have to invest in obtaining Freya, it's actually nice that she is so effective against certain enemies. If she was just an average thrall, or even just equivalent to a Cimmerian Berserker, which is among the best thralls in the game, it wouldn't be worth spending all the time required to obtain Freya.

My Freya got the +15 to Strength and Vitality instead of the healing bleed. I'm OK with this IF Funcom fixes her bleed. :)

As awesome as it makes Freya, I have to agree. The auto stacking bleed seems like a big bug. On attack is fine and understandable, but automatically is way out there for balance issues. I had a feeling the bleed was the bug from that 1st video comparing Freya to other thralls but didn't realize it was linked to the trait itself. Thanks for the effort and the info!
Most broken is the actual quest to get her. Whoever is stuck with her (Returning home) in whatever quest stage:
Make sure you finished the Liu Fei quest, having both open in parallel will break the Freya quest
That quest broke on me and I forgot about it and then he just popped up and I was able to finish it. On another playthrough her quest was completely broken for me. Maybe I’ll try it again.

It's not just her targets that get the bleed. In my game, Freya gets it herself and must be bandaged to stop it. Funcom has loosed a vampire on the Exiled Lands. I think I'll dress her in black robes, heh.

@@turnerlindab The quest itself works well enough for me, but after completing Freya, and Liu Fei for that matter, just disappear into the ether after saying they'd like to join me.
@@Jwsponky The Freya and Liu Fei that you talk to at the very end of their quests aren't the ones that you can collect. Right next to them you should see your new companion spawn. It's weird to see doubles briefly but the I think the game is not robust enough to do better.
@@retromegabitsegadude I have gone through Freya's quest once, and Liu Fei's quest twice, and have not witnessed what you speak of... I don't know if one of the handful of mods I'm using is throwing a monkey wrench in the problem or what...
Nice! I like Freya as my main, with Liu Fei as my second with warparty. I want more unique abelites on followers! Wish two followers could combo attacks!
Honestly wouldn't hurt my feelings any of they didn't patch this. I haven't even gotten a Freya yet. I've got about an hour into the game since last spring.

LUUUL this is insane XDDD but I like it haha! I'm sure this will be fixed cuz it is really bad for PVP. But even if she was fixed I think she still is a very great follower.

Freya is broken on official servers and can not be gotten anymore. I lost my thralls due to not being able to log in for a week . My base was fine but i lost ALL my thralls. I went to get Freya back only to find her returning by her fire and she will not join my party or follow me . After a few days of trying she finally started the quest but i died during the hunt (2nd part) and shes now marked as returning by her fire again with no way to reset the quest . I have over 2k hours in Conan Exiles and am really pissed at what Funcom has done to this horrible patch. Perks aside, i liked Freya. Lui Fey is also broken and will not even talk to me . I hope Dune falls flat on launch , they need to fix THIS game before rushing another one to market. Rant over love your videos have a great day :)
are you playing official server pve. if yes ping more then 200 ping cant log in just like my siptah all lost due to age of hero came from 170+ ping jump to 220 pings. if u want ping free pve official server only exilse land got 4 sever and siptah 0 sever. if want to join us at 1930 official sever is ping free for 3 years old.
@@weihongtan649 My ping is usually around 45 most days. I have seen it over 200 a few times and cant log in but after i re connect it drops to around 30-40. I have friends on 1522 so i'll stay there as long as i can. Ty for the offer :)
Honestly that is a bit broken for pvp because yes you can heal it with bandages but most arent gonna stop out in the open to do so they will have to run back to their fob or find some place to hide to do that taking them out of the fight or else they will die whitch also makes them use heals and gives you breathing room
If this is a bug do not fix this Funcom not this bug please for heavens sake don't fix this one fix me falling thru foundations crashing in a dungeon but not this one. For the love of god please don't funcom. Thank You :)
Sadly if you're talking about corruption builds with Liu Fei where you are immune to poisons and split damage with him and then he heals himself and spreads corruption to enemies near him to become almost unkillable yeah its been a thing for a while and its bannable already lol

Hi Wak. I cant even get her because someone built in the location where the boar spawns. On the cliff overlooking the desert. Its the only place it spawns. Its on a PVE official server. Its really shitty.
The Freya quest wont progress past hunting the animals, I have gotten them all and the quest wont progress. I reported it on the forums last month, there was a response by a dev or community manager saying they are aware and working on a fix, the subject closed. This is on single player.
its all broken lol , some of my t4 workers thralls just gone for no reason, i guess we have to be patient for new 2025 updates
What about giving her a weapon that applies the Gouging debuff, and have her attack an undead boss in The Unnamed City?

Well spotted! I havnt gotten Freya as yet, but I doubt I would have noticed that. What happens if you give her weapon a specter coating and then go after an undead? Do you think that could also tick up like bleed on a living enemy?
Poisons stack in addition to the bleed.
Give her a gouging weapon and even rock noses and undead bleed

I don’t think bandages can be used in most PvP fights. Maybe in the confusion of a large clan vs clan battle you can hide somewhere and apply bandages. I’ve never seen it, though.
You don't have to finish the animation to remove the bleed just start it then roll cancel to cure the bleed.
Looks like it must count bleed damage as an attack from her causing more bleed. Probably because the heal mechanic requires her bleed to be it's own thing. Oopsie I guess.
She is broken broken in my game, after completing her quest and saying she'd join me, she just disappears into the ether. Same with Liu Fei...
Does anyone know if this also works with Venom-Infused Weapons or other Poisons as well? So stacking multiple DoTs that are never removed. I know Poison is not Bleed. But where there is one bug, there may be another.
I just tried out Freya but did not get the same results. I had her using her sword (the epic version) and it’s a short sword so it should cause bleeding and the champion did not get the bleed stacks your video showed. Does the weapon matter?
As mentioned in this video if you apply a bleed then Freyas bleed wont work. Maybe the short sword bleed is doing the same thing, even though it is Freya that is wielding the short sword.

she not broken is super broken, as for me i got 2 freya the 3rd time farm her she broken now can't be farm any more. now at the volcano quest only goodbye icon(returning home). i go to her main camp she don't want to talk to me so i give her one eye big one eye small look to her lol. others player also got others bug on farming her in pve. for lui fei still good can be farm.

Who cares how strong thralls are? The easiest thrall people get en mass is the cimm zerker and with them you can beat pretty much everything in the game with them. So it's a moot point how much stronger other thralls are at that point. Just means faster kills /shrug
100% broken should be applied to the game not just freya
funny thing everyone crys about broken/bugs ... once she get nerfs because of crying audience, it will be too late to get her
So many bugs, for so many years. Such is the Funcom way.
Why waste your time on this thrall at all? A berserker in the right armor with the right weapon will destroy any boss in under a minute.This game is actively beeing destroyed by sabotaging it.The inventory bug has been in the game for almost a year now.
