Great video. Do you like the UK or US pressing betting of Fighting?

I know Live & Dangerous was not a studio album so doesn’t qualify but it’s so fucking good and I was at the Hammersmith part of the album and it’s has the ultimate version of Still In Love With You (I totally agree with what you say about Frankie Miller I do like him but not on this song) every time I’ve had my heart broken since 1978 (many times) I’ve played this song over and over again I can’t hear it now in my 60’s (and single) without remembering all those lost loves and that my friend is the mark of a brilliant song one that gets into your soul

Great ranking video - more of these please 🙂. Where would you put Live and Dangerous in your list? IMO one of the all time great live albums.

Great list. Fighting has been my favorite since the beginning, with Black Rose right behind it! But, you can't go wrong with any of the records from Fighting through Black Rose - what a great stretch.

Great review! One of my favourite bands of all time but they sadly destroyed their career with drugs and all kind of other problems, but the music.... I have almost the same ranking as you, my favourite change from day to day between Fighting, Johnny The Fox and Nightlife. The latter is not so well regarded but I think it is underrated and so is Renegade.

Also, hey now, J. Marcus may not be a technically great singer, but he’s passionate and he puts every ounce of emotion into it, and that’s really all it needs to be and all I really need ;)

Ah yeaaah! Thin Lizzy! Great hard rock group, and I was there when Jason, Joe and Kramzer of Tastes Like Music first covered their catalog!

If you're anywhere outside Ireland, they're massively underrated! One of the world's greatest 70s hard rock bands, they made Aerosmith look like fucking Seals & Croft. Up there with Motorhead for my money, complete with the other world-class badass bass-wielding frontman!

There's a good amount of unreleased Phil Lynott songs...worth a listen for sure.
