    Never seen such a dominant performance, makes good wrestlers look like beginners.

    How about 7-0 in this tourney with 4 pins and 2 techs scoring 62 takedowns in 7 matches while only giving up escapes! Despite having 4 matches end early via pin, he scored 147 pts in 7 matches (21 pts a match). He averaged a takedown every 18 seconds throughout the tourney .

      That’s freaking impressive! I’m in Ohio and I coach high level wrestlers and this is dominant.

      *Goes to PSU & becomes a back-up.

      Insane, this dude had 6 pins and a tech and is gonna be redshirted behind 2 stellar wrestlers at penn state

    Dude looks like 2 weight classes higher than his opponents. Winning most of the matches by power alone. Not doubting his technique at all, he obviously knows how to wrestle....but it's like a dad wrestling with his 5 year old.

      It really is like dad vs son. Makes one wonder how he will compare to college guys but damn he looks good. So relaxed.

    Kudos to PJs opponents,all of whom made sure he earned it.

    Honestly the stud just looks ABSURDLY stronger than all of his opponents. Which will prob change once he hits college.

      I'm curious to know what his stats are for some of the traditional weight lifts. Particularly deadlift and squat. He looks so freaking strong in those positions / motions.

    PJ wrestles just like Kyle Dake. An amazing mixture of strength, speed, and explosiveness that makes it look easy. This is exactly what Kyle is known for. I think PJ will have a good chance of being a 4xer depending on that redshirt, weight, and what MM, and Levi do.🙏🏼

    @8:46 - One of the most unique takedowns I've ever seen at any level. Followed by a beautiful throw at @8:55.

    Those one arm step through judo hip tosses were magnificent… The first one at 4:13 was amazing but 8:56 was insane

    • @xzjayz7925
      @xzjayz7925 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      He def beats Joe Sealey…. But 157 is the way to go. Joe Sealey will prob be the back up for whoever is 165

    • @xzjayz7925
      @xzjayz7925 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      He def beats Joe Sealey…. But 157 is the way to go. Joe Sealey will prob be the back up for whoever is 165. None of these guys beat Messenbrink. Their best chance is trying to beat out Haines for whatever spot. But he’s going 165 next year apparently and Joe Sealey is NOT beating Haines. So my guess is Joe Sealey is the 165 pound back up for Levi Haines when he graduates. PJ Duke is the 157 pound back up.

    He is like a Mad Scientist took Zain, Nolf and Mitch and created PJ. He was just playing with his food till he ran out of points and just then decided to pin them. The going down leading by 14, and doing reverse to instant pin. To think, he is already thinking of taking his senior year off and going to M2. What will David do with that. OMG!!!!!

    The last run by a wrestler through senior nationals that I can recall being as close to as dominant as this performance was Jesse Jantzen's back in 2000. Interestingly, another NYer.
    This however appears to be a different level of dominance entirely. Duke is just so relaxed it's ridiculous.
