I am a Japanese living in Tokyo. I am crying right now listening to this work. They have taken the Japanese Furyo culture, the Samurai spirit, and interpreted it and expressed it perfectly in metal music. This music evokes the fighting spirit in the youth of today's Japan. Just like Goku. The Japanese subtitles are also excellent. Thank you for the great music and video.
Japanese culture was always an inspiration for me, especially that fighting spirit. Death before dishonor. Maybe that's why Poland and Japan were once upon a time so close, cos we share this point in our cultural code.
Here in France, we love japanese culture. And this band represents all the love that we have for you; japanese people ✌

Not so much IMO In Polish culture code is still very solid, and that's thanks to our worst of possible geographical places in Europe - Between imperial Russians, and Germans'- fighting became part of our heritage, as we fight at least two major wars with them in every century.

i dont know why anyone hates on this band for being corny. i love that they dont take themselves too seriously and have fun paying good homage to japanese culture. the band rolling up on the bosozoku bikes is so goofy but i love it the same way i love campy horror slasher films. life is too short to not have fun.
Exactly why i love bands like alestorm etc. great music and all but at the same time not taking it too seriously. No gatekeeping and other bullshit, just fun and awesome music.

So the album already dropped here in Australia, mostly on streaming services, and I have to say that this song is a beautiful end to an entire album of pure excellence. If you thought Legacy of Shi made the lads go Kaioken x20, Showdown takes them further and makes this band true Super Saiyans. Y'all will love it, guaranteed. ❤
