You are a newly-made lord of the kingdom of Terena, and due to your prowess in battle, you have been granted a request. After seeing the mistreatment and enslavement of prisoners of war - particulary the Ployians - while you conquered the continent for Terena, you make your goal to banish slavery. However, you are still new to the capital, and the king is unlikely to grant your request to banish slavery despite his promise. So, you instead request title, a property in the capital, and a slave in hopes of establishing yourself and gathering support for the banishment of slavery.
I try to play three different roles in this audio (slave, slaver, and the listener's noble friend), but I don't think my voice acting is quite good enough to call those voices distinguishable from one another. I think this is a good way for me to see in the future how much I've grown, and if I ever try to collab, these audios might have more variety in voices! For now, I hope you are okay with what is within my current ability to do.

Honestly I was so tempted to use the brand on the slaver and let her have a taste of what the pain of the loss of freedom feels like
The slaver 100% deserves it. That sort of freedom should never be allowed to be taken away. My only ethical concern is stooping to her level. Thinking about history, it's always been a cycle of one group enslaving another---an endless cycle of revenge and hatred. :(

@RoseWeiVA eren is all about freedom and sometimes take this so far as to commit genocide it's like "oh you won't free the slaves 😄 okay destroy the kingdom 😡"
Anyone who would force others to wear the chains of slavery , should first wear those chains themselves .
Supposedly Abraham Lincoln said something similar.
And when I heard the mention of someone being branded , I had hoped the slave buyer would either refuse to do it , maybe casting the brand to the floor in anger.
Or maybe he would turn to the slave dealer , and at least threaten to brand her instead. Of course no one should ever have to suffer such an act.
No one should ever be a slave to another , and no one should ever have the right to make a slave of another.
The whole series is about abolishing slavery and setting the slave girl free. 😊

Oh gosh this was such an old series. It was completely improvised and I had to play multiple parts, so the characters might not sound very differentiated. And yeah, I couldn't scream. 😭
