- In todays video we are back in action after being on holidays and now Father Phil is away. We take a look around the yard and see the changes made and also spend the day with us as we get new calves trained onto the feeder, the new cattle yard is starting to take shape, dosing, feeding and bedding.

I wouldn't recommend having the roof sprayed in winter
The foam doesn't like landing on anything below 10°c Phill
I worked for weatherseal and I found that out the hard way
Foam comes out hot and it's the heat that makes it expand fast if you hit cold steel it doesn't expand properly and looses grip on the steel and it sill sag away from it or fall off in slabs

I can’t believe you admitted that you don’t dose for fluke , for the sake of the cost it’s a no brainier Phil , we dose with either enda fluke or fasinex 240 which gets all stages of fluke and shave they’re backs and do them for worms and lice at the same time

You may watch the chopped beat doesn’t lie too long or you’ll get mould growth on it and possibly antibiotic traces in meat due to it! I know dairy men that have had milk turned down that way!

I use the diet feeder with clean beet chops alright but want to give it 15 minutes at least to chop works handy to put it chopping and get the straw and ration ready for the mix

Would some of the green silage pit netting be enough to protect the beet from frost. The green netting wasn’t around when I was at beet I used to hate taking the straw off as it would block the chopper I was using.
Was debating about that but it’s to get mild so we’ll be leaving it off for now

Glad yea enjoyed ur holidays maybe think of those who can't afford holidays with Christmas coming I think don't share holidays and Christmas etc not really anything to do with other people
