I loved the cover and how you did everything and I love how in the beginning you said that sometimes you didn't follow the directions which was neat because then people wouldn't be like "it's wreck this journal not whatever you did" But anyways overall I loved the video

I used acrylic paint and a sponge, and then painted mod podge on top

This is really good! But... i like it more _actually_ wrecked. i’ve thrown mine into three different bodies off water, lost pages, ripped pages, scribbled, spit in it (don’t ask), put food in it, weird substance in it, drove over it once, threw it off the roof of my house, tons of people have signed it. i’ve bent it, stabbed it, lost it, read every page tons of times.
what i’m getting at is i feel like it’s more personable when you do the fun stuff with friends and stuff instead of just making it pretty. great video, though.

I saw 2 friends do this for 1 day (it was a challenge) and they finished. You finished 3 years after you started it?
I've had one for at least 6 years and still haven't finished. It's not about just finishing it.

How was the cover done? Spray paint and a splatter kind of technique? It’s gorgeous and I’ve just been using Sharpie on mine which ends up on my hands.
My book is only about 15 pages done. But, I don’t do books or journals normally.
If I had a cover that would draw me into it, I feel I could further my artistic side.
I’m a musician, so every time I go at it I end up feeling like I’m with a bad musician.
If that makes any sense.
I just need that boom at first to get me going and your cover certainly does that for me.

@@theLifeofGill ugh that seems a bit beyond my talent as an artist. Which, is the reason I beat drums with a stick xD I’m gonna go for it though. It’s meant to be destroyed. I just did the Rub Dirt page with my 3 year old today and it ripped in half but it’s right there in the book.
