No problems gary. This opto comp is great sounding. Effectively its a recreation of the la4 from universal audio, replacing the bad ic chips in the original, adding a transformer output and also adding a hpf, mix wet/dry dial and a couple of other options. Too many tubes and transformers to fit and power. Peterson from diyre cleverly opted to instead of going for an la2a style comp, went for the la4, which has a better opto circuit, and can fit in a 500 series unit, and redesigned it. It sounds very nice. For a preamp like you asked, head to soundskulptor.com they have one there. The mp599.
