This is dependent on a lot of factors. Soil makeup, entrained moisture, seismic zone, and of course the weight The general minimum for average structures and average soils is 1500 PSF, meaning that a nuclear density test must show that the soil can bear 1500 Pounds on a square foot area without compression.
@@TheBridgeEngineer apki video se bhout kuch sikha hi mine thanxxx sir aise video bnate rhiye or sb apse kuch sikh jayenge bhout best video bnate h ap sir plesa pile ka video bna k jarur send kriye sir load test
Sodium bentonite is thixotropic in nature, which makes them suitable for soil stabilization work. The bentonite slurry contains cations( Na+) which bring stability to the boring soil surface due to electrically charged ions. Basically we use to clear the impurities and to develop the bond of polymer with water and soil to make a menebrane
Video was quite helpful...although I want to know what is the permissible inclination or tilt for a pile and what method is adopted to check the inclination and is there any function in any type of rotary drilling machine which can tell us the inclination in pile..bhai I have been working in bridges for 4 years now and still haven't seen any reliable method to check inclination.. If possible please help
yes there is a tolerance of 1/150 (d/150) and we can check it on site by 2 methods one is offset method and other one is inbuilt system in pilling rig. I have described about it on my latest video of IRC 78
super thoughts and explained very well
Thank you so much, keep supporting
Bahut accha video hai sir ji
Helpfull ,v imo info
Thank you so much
Amazing video, thank you so much for giving the information

Shandar Vedio 😊
Thank you so much for appreciating
Awesome dear Brother ❤️❤️
Thank you so much
Excellent sir
Thank you
thank you sir
You are welcome
Very good practical knowledge. Required a video in types of pile tests and their acceptable Limits.
Thank you so much.
Nice video.
Thank you so much
Thanks bro ❤️
Welcome 🤗
2d means 2×Dia of pile
D/10 if dia is more than 600 dia pile
Video achi h but clearly dikhana chaiye apko
Minimum soil bearing capacity for pile foundation

Pile ka dia kaise decide krte h sir?
Based on the design , ki load kitna hai , soil kaisa hai , aur v kaafi saare factor hote hai.
Very usefull 👍👍
sir plese ap pile load test ka vido bnaiye
Next video steel girder pe aa rahi hai .... Saari details hogi...please support then pile load test i will upload

Yes .. I agree... But ab Jo v videos aa rahi h wo stable milengi aapko
Safe bearing capacity
Not soil bearing capacity
Hoper me .178m3 kaise aaye jada aayega revised kar lo.
Why we use sodium in polymer...?
