Flight over J. Percy Priest Dam in Tennessee

This is a quadcopter flight over J. Percy Priest Dam. It is a dam in north central Tennessee at river mile 6.8 of the Stones River, a tributary of the Cumberland. It is located about ten miles (16 km) east of downtown Nashville. The reservoir behind the dam is Percy Priest Lake. It is one of four major flood control reservoirs for the Cumberland river

Is it legal to fly a quadcopter at the dam, since it is about 3.5-4 miles from the airport? I fly mine there but am concerned about being within the 5 mile radius of the Nashville airport.

This was long enough ago they didn’t update the no fly zone list, a modern day drone won’t take off if your less than 5 miles from an airport. He prob skated by under the gun

@@BigMoney23223 mine was old enough no to be blocked by a geofence. What I ended up doing was contacting the airport and I got permission to fly the drone there.
