I really enjoyed this interview. Rachel Galligan is very engaging. I had never heard of her but than again I didn't start watching Women's collegiate basketball until the advent of Paige Bueckers. I really like how she understands the gravity of this story for this young girl and how she expressed it for us. One can see she looks at these players as human beings. Really refreshing.

Delightful and very insightful video. Go Ines, she's developing rapidly. Bought into Geno's system and the rest of the players love her.

Love the three pointer she hit at Butler with no time left in the third a few days ago. And those free throws she hit against Princeton a month ago were monumental and her knees had to be shaking. Talk about handling trial by fire. I love her story. Good for her. Oh and Lou Lopez-Senechal's story is great too. Love these Cinderella stories.

Love this interview, she is such a lucky person to have fallen into this situation. Never heard of Rachel, but was delighted to google her and see she was a star at EIU, a school I graduated from. Amazing how many ppl came out of that school with such success.

I’ve noticed Inês has gotten much better- very good making steals and excellent with assists on fast breaks.
I hope she continues to improve her scoring ability and gets to play more minutes.

Ines has a awesome story! She might have been thrown to the wolves but she has been taking it in stride. I was really proud of how she handled the game against Maryland earlier in the season that had to have been a crazy experience for her lol.

First the Sisterhood at UCONN is beyond imagine, Great....No Ugly Step Sisters there... Everyone survives by being there for each other!!! Yes, Ines was just like Cinderella asked to go to the ball/ball team at the last minute.... She handle her self very well the first games she entered... Sure mistakes were made but she did not cause a loss or lose the lead or any other super bad thing... She stuck to the game and did her job and that is the most important thing.... Not to worried that it was a last minute change of life for her or the team... Very brave to jump to UCONN!!! She will become great if she has talent prior to arriving at UCONN and it will grow by working on her craft!!!

Twice during the DePaul game this year, Ines made positive plays that caused Coach Bruno call a timeout. Well, maybe Ines wasn't the exact cause but I like to think so.

This young lady is going to be fine once she get acclimated to the college environment and game. Once she does that then her game will come along. Looks like she has a nice shot but will get better with time in the gym along with her ball handling skills..

Will she be on the team next year? Uconn will be loaded with great guards, and it will be tough to get any playing time.

I think she will be on the team, but she will get very little playing time due to Paige, Nika, and KK Arnold as point guards

I'm fairly new watching NCAA women's basketball; credit to Paige Bueckers for that. Anyway just looked at a highlight reel from Ticha Pennetero. OMG! Otherworldly passing. I wonder if Nika Muhl learned from watching her?

Unfortunately, Inez will have minimal playing time - Paige, Azzi, KK Arnold, Ashlyn Shade +/- Carolyn will be ahead of her.

If we simply talk about point guards, Paige, Nika, KK Arnold will be ahead of her.

Ticha Penicheiro was a Portuguese player that played in the WNBA and is considered one of the all time great guards.

@@snekmeseht Thank you for the feedback. While I'm an ardent fan of UNCONN ladies basketball, I do not follow the WNBA or the NBA, or any other professional sports, for that matter. About 5 years ago I started to follow UCONN. I'll do some more research now on Penicheiro. Ines has made tremendous strides in her UCONN career and I feel she'll be outstanding as she gains more experience but UCONN has great talent and depth at guard for the next couple of years. Great future. Galligan has great knowledge and experience. Thanks for sharing this video.

The audio's volume keeps fading in and out. Annoying.

Being real. I like her and she wants to do well for the team. But I feel sorry for her I know she is going out of here yes she is. UCONN I feel wasn't the right place to come and play here. That's my opinion.?
