I see why the mom doesn’t trust her older son yet. The little guy can’t defend himself against his older brother.
It was really tough. I know, Gentaro doesn't want to hurt his brother, and he's just teenager. But I wish Genki to stay strong. Kintaro is too small and fragile. Gentaro's actions was really dangerous.
But I like the way his father scolded him with his eyes =D
Now I understand why the mom is so protective of the little!!😳😳😳
The older brother need other gorrillas his age to play with he is bored and imagine lonely for companionship of other gorillas ... mom has baby and dad he don't help with the older boy very much ... I feel bad for him

I tried not to laugh but couldn't help myself because the baby could have been hurt. Gentaro has really perfected his snatch and grab technique, he'd make a good purse snatcher! LOL Also lil Kintaro can climb like a professional, that kid got skills!
Gentaro: "But mom, I am trying to fix this problem of you not paying attention to me by the act of kid(gorilla) napping. Ha!!...I've got the baby, but have NO idea what to do next, and rarely think about the consequences thereafter!!"...LOL"

This was hard to watch, poor Kintaro 😭 I'm hoping Gentaro stops this behaviour before Kintaro gets badly hurt, come on daddy step in and help stop Gentaro from getting his baby brother.

We've watched a lot of Gorilla videos over the years and this is how baby Gorillas get hurt and sometimes die from their siblings. The last two times I've seen Gentaro do this from another person who video tapes Kintaro it was so vicious he dragged him like a rag doll at high speed across the whole yard and is very disturbing to watch.
Oh my, Kintaro is going to get seriously hurt . Big daddy Momotaro needs to give Gentaro a good whack!!

Tough to 👀... Please don't be too hard on Gentaro, he's still learning, can't just send him off somewhere else, how will he learn what's right and wrong. Baby gorillas are tough and Kintaro will be stronger bc of this. Only my opinion 👍😁
Gorilla Gorilla, thank you for sharing this and I agree with you. I'm also worried. First time I really been this worried as I'm right now. This is something I've been worried about since the beginning. Sure, Gentaro is one cute and funny gorilla and he doesn't know his strength but something change in yesterdays video when I saw something in his eyes. It looked like he wanted to hurt Kintaro. We just have to wait and see if the keepers going to change anything.

In the 6.45 minute, perhaps you mean this, it is the first time we see Gentaro hit Genki back, but we only see a selection of moments and we do not know if in chronological order. The more freedom Kintaro has, the more opportunities Gentaro will have. On the other hand I think Momotaro is warning patiently, they perfectly know the strength that each one has...
The fact of the matter is, if Gentaro wanted to hurt Kintaro we wouldn't need your magical skill of reading a gorillas mind to tell us. We would simply know because he would just do it. If he wanted to hurt him, he could do it with relative ease.

Yes around the, the whole section is disturbing. If Gentaro can't play nice when Genki's around what would he do when the brothers alone? In this he's using Kintaro as a ragdoll.

Gentaro doesn't seem to be responsible enough to handle Kintaro with care . Gentaro must get to excited about holding Kintaro . Poor Kintaro suffers the consequences of an over eager Gentaro. Maybe someday they can play 🤔😒😁
Gentaro, quite the little heathen for awhile. His first snatch n grab didn't notice Momo til he ran by. Left go, then his in the densely wooded jungle. Momo didn't forget though, have him quite the state down. They're doing so much better now. Truly a delight to see from baby born and continuing on. Sure a bright spot during COVID. Appreciate your talents and time. 🤗😂😳🐒🦧🦍❤️
Genki did.-not let her little Kentaro out her site 😂😂😂 Gentaro was the cutest little baby stealing gorilla ever❤❤ He just wanted to play❤🦍🦍 After all the Attempts Gentaro was able to carry out, He Made Little Kentaro a tough Little guy. They have both grown up a bit but they Will always be our Precious babies. Love this family.

My favorite video is the one where Genki has been battling Toddler Gentaro over him trying to loot baby Kentaro and she Spit’s water at Gentaro as she’s leaning in the water pool drinking water 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I laughed so hard . I wish I could remember which one it was . I’d watch it over and over again. As I did when I first saw it. Adorable family
Momotaro’s stance lets you know he’s showing dominance. He keeps his eyes on Gentaro and they are follow him. Gentaro is going to cross a line with dad real soon. He keeps messing with Genki and when Genki gets distressed that’s when he goes into action because he has to protect her. They’ll definitely be moving him soon.
They must have flexible bones. The way that baby was dragged and pulled and no broken bones is amazing to me.

Maybe to maintain that big body. Leaves, a food that seems to be poor in nutrition at first glance, contain a relatively large amount of protein.

I think they are trying to improve his heart because legs are weak,because when Gentaro tried to pick him up off the rope he fell down and Genki didn't panic..she just allowed him to get up on his own.
@@resiack um I guess if it looks like a gorilla it must be! Plenty of babies have died from being dragged and their head hitting rocks and such, if your meaning cause he is a gorilla, they arent invincible! SMh

I don’t remember if Lope ever dragged Shufi around by his arm but I think Gentaro is getting out of hand. He needs to be moved to another zoo with guys his own age to learn and play with
There's one video with Lope dragged Shufai into the yard but the adults were right after him. I wouldn't want to really tick off Ozala. She looks like she can handle just about anything.

Looks like a bit of sibling rivalry going on there. Seems older brother doesn't like baby brother getting moms attention. Until the baby came along he got all moms attention and now she carries the baby and pays more attention to the little one. Best keep a close eye I wouldn't put it past the older brother to severely injure or kill his baby brother to eliminate that rivalry. Jealousy amongst primates is a known behaviour and results in severe injuries or even death to the young one. JMO
Amen to the reality of life in anybody's family.
