I don't have access to fine sand or dirt. I think I'll just use some Ferti.lome brand cactus and succulent mix with about 30% perlite for excellent drainage. After they've dropped their leaves (normal, I understand after the shipping and packing trauma) and begin sprouting new ones, I'll just feed them with 20-20-20 water soluble Miracle Gro fertilizer 1/2 strength until the late fall here in SW La, where we have a short winter with only a handful of light (28-32 degrees) freezes, at which time I'll just move them inside a nearby heated room to the patio. What do you think? Happy growing! 🪴
