Good to see I'm not alone in picking these two together as a team. What better way to show how stylish the arts of Capoeira and Tae Kwon Do are than having none other than Hwoarang and Eddy Gordo team up?
I always really liked seeing Eddy and Hwoarang next to each other. The 2 characters notoriously known for their kicks and among the most classic TK characters ever since Tekken 3. They don't make characters like these anymore nowadays
@Rory Addison When I said "They don't make characters like these anymore nowadays" I meant to say characters with a cool overall design just like Eddy & Hwoarang, not necessarily gameplay wise. Look at the new characters we have today and compare that to the new characters from back in the days.

They still produce outstanding gameplay, but the new characters just don't feel like they belong in the Tekken series. They don't feel like true Tekken characters to me. I still use the old school OG fighters. Heihachi, Law, Eddy.
Well lidia is in the game now they did it. lidia is prety aweasome to me leroy could of been just as great but they made him so broken and boring gameplay wise that l don't like him that much anymore unfortunately😢 at least lidia is sick!😉

Because he countered Nina's parry. That's called a chicken in Tekken. You can still do it in Tekken 7 but it's rare for people to utilize it. Useful if you have fast reactions against a party spamming asuka though

11:03 I never understood why Eddy has that voiceline. It doesn't sound like Eddys voice at all and this voiceline isn't even on the japanese version of the game. I had Tekken 3 and TTT1 as japanese discs but Eddy doesn't use this voiceline in these version. Thank god because it sounds horrible.
@@LikeAGaruda Maybe a hint could be in Tekken 3 intro when Eddy and his grandpa escape from the prison and Hworang is right there with his motorbike to wait for them🤷🏾♂️
@@thequing9244 That's the exact same thing I also thought all these years. I recently watched the Tekken 3 Intro again and it's completely different than I and many others thought. Hwoarang isn't waiting for Eddy, instead he is waiting for Jin in a backseat of a car. The rapidly cutting scenes make it a bit unclear but watch it again and you'll see. I was baffled when I saw it for the first time.

I've never seen Tekken Tag played like this before wtf. You make this look like a completely different game than I played growing up with your mastery of all these characters. Didn't realize how complex this game could be if you know it inside out.

이 시절에는 횡보라는 게 없어서 오히려 횡이동이 취약했던 에디에게 훌륭한 횡이동기입니다. 횡이동 자체가 징가라는 기술 이름과 함께 양손을 누르면 더 크게 돌기 때문에 회피력이 좋은 편입니다. 🕺🕺
친구랑 철권할때 에디하면 우정브래이커 였지 ㅋㅋㅋ
