Loved this & loved that you mentioned all the snow birds on the SUV's 😂I think we stayed right near where your van is parked and our main memory of the place was how none of the older crew walked anywhere! (to the point that a couple of guys camping would drive their SUV the 200m to drop off their garbage in the trash). Definitely a natural Eamon 😉
Hahah it's so funny the ATVs are everywhere. We've become locals here in Los Barriles and everyone thinks it's funny that we walk everywhere! If it weren't for the kiteboarding I'm not sure we'd be so settled into this town but Eamon is IN LOVE with this sport. Sending you 3 our love x

I’m feeling 😴 after a long travel day yesterday but am enjoying catching up on your videos while snuggling with our pup! We spent a week at Laguna de Apoyo in Nicaragua and you guys would love it there!!! There’s a free camp spot down the road from Apoyo Lodge, which is an amazing eco lodge that offers yoga classes and delicious, fresh, and healthy vegan food. PS Bec, this sounds like the perfect day!!! I’m an introvert too and love taking alone time to read outside.
Little bummed not to see more of beautiful La Paz and that you didn't get to snorkel with the whale sharks, but so cool to see the ('my') new and improved table show up several times ;-) Keep enjoying this slice of heaven I call home :-)

I'm content with cilantro but don't think to use it often. I remember a long time ago, when I made homemade salsa for the first time, I found out my dad dislikes cilantro, saying it tastes like soap. Not to me. I'm loving your Baja videos. You edit them so perfectly, they're a joy to watch! Thank you!
This was filmed beautifully. I really liked seeing the back and forth of what you each got up to and getting back together. I especially liked Eamons internal debate about kiteboarding- that was really funny! The love between you guys is so easy to see :)

Kiting is completely addictive. I have been kiting for the last 10 years and it's one of the best sports out there. Wait until you start jumping...then the fun begins.
Hahah I can already see that there will be lots of kiting in our near future. I actually suggested to Eamon that we find a great kiting spot where there is a yoga retreat or instructor certification nearby because I'd happily stay put for a month for him to kite if I could find something to dive into!

Cilantro is just about the best food for getting metals out of your body. I like to keep on hand a thick chutney of cilantro, parsley, ginger, garlic, salt, pepper, lemon and some sort of nuts. Yummmmm
I also used to hate cilantro, but now i do love it. I began using it in juicing with pineapple. That's what did it. Now its a great herb for certain dishes.

Hi. From video and bit of video from instgram, noticed that you are running on ( all terrain, winter ) tyres, I ran my truck units on those all year round, a little bit more of a noise from them but never got stuck in snow or dirt. When you wake up in morning and find snow above centreof axles, I watch other trucks spin, my turn and haul out. Your sand board are a great idea as well. Your are kitted for anywhere !

I LOVE the Mexico trip... I keep hearing how scary and dangerous it is to go there. So my van is parked in the driveway in boring Alabama and I’m watching you guys. Plus I’m almost 60 and have a muscle disease so there’s not much I can do except watch. My feet and leg muscles are so weak my heels dig into the sand and I can’t walk in it, lol... it’s pretty funky looking. I sure wish I had gotten my van and done van life about 40 years ago!
It's not necessarily the speed on loose deep sand, it's the change of speed that gets your axles buried. Sometimes it's easier to sort of float over loose sand at speed with the rear end drifting a bit and throwing rooster tails at maybe 35 mph. It's also funnnnnn. The Cramalot Inn is my old sleeper of a vegan hippie shack. She's a 1982 Lazy Daze that I've had since about maybe around 2000 or 2001 and my god have we ever crept into places together you would never imagine finding us. Sometimes taken a lot of figuring it out and thatta girls to get her rolling out but hey learned alot. Eg, those plastic expensive gizmos are terrific , but so are a few pieces of driftwood and a hunk of carpet.
❤ Cilantro. I love seeing more van lifers visiting Baja, people love to sell fear. Its like any country, you have your rich areas and poor areas and if you go flashing your wealth like an ass, you will get jacked. NOT any different from any other country, every country has good people and bad people. Mexico has some of the most beautiful beaches, so much culture and amazing people. I love it!Thank for sharing your adventure😁

She's a 1982 Lazy Daze that I've had since about maybe around 2000 or 2001 and my god have we ever crept into places together you would never imagine finding us. Sometimes taken a lot of figuring it out and thatta girls to get her rolling out but hey learned alot. Eg, those plastic expensive gizmos are terrific , but so are a few pieces of driftwood and a hunk of carpet.

Its like any country, you have your rich areas and poor areas and if you go flashing your wealth like an ass, you will get jacked. NOT any different from any other country, every country has good people and bad people. Mexico has some of the most beautiful beaches, so much culture and amazing people.
